Well for one thing, I'M SO EXCITED FOR DISNEY! This will be the first trip for any kind of holiday that my family and I will be doing. As I've said in previous posts, we've gone every year since the year I was born (except last year:sad:) but it's always been August.

Well anyway, we'll be there four day, but only have three-day park hoppers. So here's how I'm assuming it will go:

Friday- Arrive @ 3ish and go to Downtown Disney
Saturday- Disneyland all day
Sunday- Goofy's Kitchen @ 7 then California Adventure and WOC
Monday- Magic Morning and leaving @ 12

So for Friday, what are some things that are semi-new in Downtown? The last time we went a lot of stores were closed and new ones were opening. Any suggestions?

I didn't do a whole lot of shopping last week, but the only new store that stood out to me is RIDEMAKERZ where you can build a custom RC car. There was also a new (or new since I've been there) Wet Seal store called Blink. I really miss the Christmas store and wish they'd put something like Days of Christmas (at WDW) in.

thats too funny....

Always our first night is spent in Downtown Disney walking around, starting to shop and then eating or more likely snacking.

I usually lose track of the actual store changes from visit to visit but regardless we spend time walking from store to store and starting to figure out what souvenirs we want to buy....

cheers and have a blast

It's hard to remember what wasn't there 2 years ago. Some stores went through some refurbishment to be "new" for the re-grand opening of DCA last June. I think Ridemakerz has been there for about 3 years. Just do like everyone and walk around and see what's new.

I like to listen to the live music, and my boys like to play at the Lego store ::yes:: but since we're locals, we don't shop all that much.

Is there always live music in DTD?

You can always go to the GW and wander around there, lots of shops to check out. Or see a movie at the theater there. :)

There is a new store called Wonder Gallery! It showcases Disney Artists and sometimes the artists are there making thier work. It's a really nice store to take a look at :)

Hope this helps!
