Downtown Disney - My Little Ponies

I just found this thread through googling the MLP at DTD. My 4 yr old princess is so excited to do this in September! She loves the pictures! I hope I can fill the box to the brim. I was wondering if all the pieces to one outfit are clustered together, so we don't miss any one piece. We need the full outfits! :)
I wanted to bump this thread up, it's too great for it to be archived. :goodvibes

they are- but you will have to dig! they're each sectioned off like the mr potato head. but the clothes stay on the top and plastic stuff goes to the bottom. so remember- 4 shoes for each outfit, ariel's comes with a clam on an elastic, a sandcastle, and i think one more, jasmine has a lamp with her...etc....belle has i think the most pieces with her. i'd list them all , but dd has them all over now. theres also hats with a veil on them as well. some have plastic crowns...theres also a basket with one. then brushes, beds, 2 ponies, hairclips with ribbons and blankets...whew i think thats it. if you need help ask! they'll help stuff the box with you too.

oh and there's also minnie ears with a purlple and teal veil. and mickey head sun glasses.

I'm so glad I found this thread today! My daughter loves My Little Ponies and this would be an awesome thing to do with her. :)

Yes, outfits are clustered together. Some have more than one type of hat so definitely dig to the bottom for the teeny heavy stuff.

I get 6 of each shoe per outfit and kept some extra accessories in the box tucked away in DD room in case shoes get lost under the couch or carseat.

I thought it was a once and done deal but there were no raincoats, bureaus, or popcorn carts there when we visited! I want those sunglasses!

Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Tink, and Arielle costumes, Minnie Mouse, the ears with pink and blue tulle, mouseketeer headbands, bed. Tiny Chip, genie lamps, and... ????

I love the potato head buffet but I wanted EVERYTHING! In the end trimming it down was so overwhelming I gave up. With ponies you can easily get one of everything and then some. We had a male CM in a wheelchair who was great at stuffing the boxes and doubled our stuff. I saved some stuff for birthday gifts.

Anybody know if these are still available, I would like to get some for my niece

And maybe one for me :rotfl:

We are going to Disney in December, and I am really hoping they will still be there. We went last year and my daughter loved it and she still plays with her MLP. I know she would love to fill another box!

Here are some pics of our MLP boxes:

the girls really loved them!

have a great day- jen

I can't wait to take my DD there! When we were there before she was too young to be that interested in them but now, at almost 5 when we go, she will FLIP OUT! I think I will too! :yay:

I was wondering, can you fit every single piece of the accessories in the box if you pack them in there properly? I am bringing dd there, and was thinking we might get one for my best friend's daughter a box as well, for Christmas. Just curious to know if I can squeeze everything in... I am pretty good with packing a lot into small places, never tried it with MLP though. :rotfl2:

My dd is so excited to do this on our upcoming trip. We are going to Rainforest for supper are arrival day then off to the Toy Store!!

When we were there in April, we took home "in" one box 3 ponies and 3 beds, plus clothes, shoes, blankets and accessories. I didn't actually get it all to fit into the box and when the CM saw my box, she seemed a little disappointed by how much I didn't fit in there! She told me to go get 2 more beds (I started with 1) and the blankets. To this day, I still don't know how you would make it all fit, but the CMs can make it fit!

Squeezing it all in is part of the fun! Enjoy!

My husband sat in the corner and started stuffing / folding as much as he could into the box. We didn't buy any ponies there, I ended up buying bulk on ebay and Tinkerbell left them for DD each night at Disney.

Other Dads saw my husband and started doing the same. I think we were able to fit 3 sets of everything. They were out of shoes though.

Here's a thread from '09 where I posted pics of some of our items. This was all 1 box worth.

Thanks for the thread link. I know both of my girls are going to want to put one pony in there box. But this will still be cheaper than build a dino so yeah for me!! :woohoo:
I asked dd if she wanted to do this or build a dino she picked the pony. By the time they dressed the dino and everything it was going to cost me around 70.00 for 2. This is so much better.

Or, maybe buy the pony separately since it takes up so much room in the box. That way you can get more accessories & outfits. The bed & mirror take up the most room. The outfits are tiny.

Have fun!

Does anybody know if there is a list of the full costumes for the ponies? I want to make sure we don't miss anything. Or is there a picture going back of the entire outfits? I can make my own list of pieces. ;)

I picked one up today. The only big item they had was the bed. No Mirror, Popcorn cart, etc. I also didn't see any shoes. Maybe I didn't dig enough. I did manage to get 3 ponies and at least 3 sets of everything except for the beds into one box. The beds took too much room, so I left them out. Oh, the brushes are medium sized and I only got 2 different kinds.

OMG! I am so excited about this! DD will LOVE this. We are going on her FIRST trip in January.

I got potato head parts last year when I went with DH. I stuffed that box full! I had no idea about ponies! My DH is a Pony freak right now!!

Which shop is it in DTD? I think I missed that part...

Anyone know if the pony station is still around? We were there in Feb 2011 and I didn't see it. We are headed back in September and would love to add to the collection:)
