Does anyone know what the hours of the shops and restaurants are? I am getting a little stressed about timing. Here is what's going on:
Our flight arrives at 2:30pm. We will be taking the Magical Express to the Polynesian. We have always had great service with ME and I imagine we will be at the resort and checked in no later than 4pm. My family loves to go to Downtown Disney on the first day and get set up for pin trading and hit the World of Disney for some initial shopping.
BUT this trip I have a suprise Fireworks Cruise scheduled and we are supposed to be at the Polynesian dock at 7pm with Fireworks at 8pm. I just don't think we are going to have time to get over to Downtown Disney and back before we need to be at the Poly boat dock. So I'm wondering how late does Downtown Disney stay open? Maybe we should just plan on heading over there the minute we get off the boat.
I have told them there might be a scheduling issue and that we have somewhere we have to be at 7pm. My DH thinks he has it figured out and thinks we are going to California Grill. I am just letting him think he is smarter than me.
Any advice, suggestions and information on hours you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I have even wondered if we should just catch a cab to DTD and back to help cut down on commute time? Have never done that at Disney, how easy would it be to catch a cab at DTD? I assume at the hotel it would be easier.
