Downtown Disney hotels

I need to book a hotel in downtown Disney. I understand there are 7 hotels which are all affiliated with Disney.

Does anyone have any advice or money saving tips on which hotel would be the best?

The cheapest I have seen is for $59/night staying at the Best Western Lake Buena Vista.

Does any have any other recommendations?

when are you going?

right now WDW has codes for Pop Century that make it $55 a night for august/sept.

Just curious...

where have you seen the price of $59 per night at the Best Western in DTD? Also, what time of year is that rate for? That sounds like a good rate to me.

I've never stayed at the Best Western, but I have stayed in Downtown Disney. It looks very nice and I hear the rooms are more spacious than the rooms in the moderate category on Disney property. $59 is an excellent rate for that area.

The rate of $59/nite for the Best Western Lake Buena Vista I got from the Travelzoo web site (www.travelzoo.com). It is only good until Aug.4 for travel until Oct. 7.
