Downtown Disney hotels

Are any of the hotels a reasonable walking distance or would we need to drive?

Walking distance to DTD. Don't know where you want to walk to.

We have walked from the Royal Plaza and Holiday Inn (when it was a Courtyard). I would much rather walk than hunt for a parking spot DTD.

The DTD hotels are within walking distance of DTD, with the Hilton and Regal Sun being the closest (right across the street). All of the DTD hotels have bus transportation to the parks that picks up about every 30 minutes. You can also catch Disney transportation from DTD to the Disney resorts, but not to the parks. You would need to take a taxi or use towncar service to get to and from the airport, but the rest of your stay would be completely do-able without a car. When we stay at the DTD Hilton there are plenty of families there that do not have a car.
