Downtown Disney hotels question

Just back from the world and already planning next trip, but have some questions. We are wanting to do an extended stay for this next trip so we can do Universal/IOA, Sea World, and Cape. But what I'm really scratching my head about is wether or not the DTD hotels are included with the MYW packaging? I'm ok with getting the hotel seperate, but I loved the dining plan and the emh. Are you still considered a resort guest staying there?

Question #2 Can anybody tell me if the Best Western Lake Buena Vista is a good hotel?? I have'nt seen any reviews for this one.

You can only get the dining plan at a Disney Resort so the DTD hotels would not be included.

I believe that the Hilton DTD is the only Downtown Disney hotel that is eligible for EMH.
