Downtown Disney Hotel with Priceline?

Is it possible to have a sure deal on a Downtown Disney hotel if you choose the correct area of Orlando on Priceline? I know that people do get DTD hotels as well as the Swan and Dolphin but are they just lucky or what? thanks

NO there is no way to be sure with PRiceline..with Hotwire you can figure out what they are offering you and can know where it is. You can check www.betterbidding.com to get a list of the amenities listed for many hotels offered

Biddingfortravel.com is a good resource for Priceline.

Wyndham and Hilton are both in DTD and are resorts with PL. A winning bid of under $80 will generally be one of those hotels. Usually the other hotels require a higher bid. BUT THERE IS NO GUARANTEE Occassionally another resort will dump rooms at a low rate. You could wind up with MOWC or another property. Wyndham sometimes has 50% rates available on their website and to COSTCO/SAMSCLUB members.

If you find a winning bid on BFT for your exact days and you bid right away you have a reasonable chance of getting the same hotel.
