Downtown Disney hotel bus service

I have a question about the bus service at DTD hotels. Is the system the same as the other Disney resorts or different? If they are different are they about the same or worse? I am trying to get all my info before deciding on a hotel.

We stayed at Downtown Disney in 5-01. The bus service worked just fine. The buses are different than those that you would use for the resorts but they were on time and reasonably fast. We had no complaints on the Downtown Disney transportation. Also, we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott and we were one of the first hotels on the bus and off. If you get later on the route it may be difficult to get on in the morning. Try to find out which stop your hotel would be.
