We are going down to Florida to visit friends next week and I talked my DH into going to Disney for a couple of days. We are staying at the Hilton because we are Hilton Club members and can get an executive level room at a good price and get points at the same time. This was how I was able to convince my DH. Anyway, we've always stayed at Disney owned hotels in the past and it feels a little strange to me to stay elsewhere this time. I know this hotel has the extended hours etc. Has anyone else stayed there and how was your experience?

We stayed there for two nights a cople of years ago. The location was great. We also took advantage of the Character B-fast. Our three kids received a lot of attention from Pooh and friends. The room seemed bigger than a mod a Disney. The staff was great, we requested a crib when we checked in and it beat us to the room. I rememver it being clean and the pool was fine. I will try to answer any other questions that you have. We are also HH members, however we got this room through Priceline.

We stayed there two years ago while we were in town dealing with the building of our home. Most of our time was spent buying furniture, ordering blinds, working with the landscaper, etc., so I can't really comment on how it was if you are going to the parks. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious enough.

We didn't use the transportation, and grabbed coffee and a roll from the little shop in the lobby that has Starbucks from breakfast one morning, that was very convenient.

All in all for the price you can't go wrong.

Dh and I stayed there in September for the F&W festival. We too had only stayed on site before (DVC owners too) but this was a last minute trip and everything was booked. The room was very nice, good sized, clean. We were impressed with the assortment of cafe/restaurant spots in the lobby. You could easily walk to the Marketplace. We had a car so we didn't use the transportation, we don't use it when we stay on site either. We got a good rate, $99 and were quite pleased. We would easily stay here again.

We stayed there in August of 2005 for three nights. I had gotten an offer of a three night 4 day stay for only $99.00 because Hilton wanted to present some timeshare property. It was a great deal! The hotel was nice, we used the transportation which was good and our room was perfect. We loved having the Benihana right in the lobby, in fact, there were plenty of food choices there, which I wish they had in the regular Disney hotels. Being across the street from Downtown Disney was awesome too! I would highly recommend, you also get to participate in the extra magic hours too. And I had always been nervous about timeshare presentations, but because this was a Hilton one, I felt comfortable doing it. It was not so bad, lots of pressure at the end, but we were done early and had plenty of park time left for the day. Enjoy!
