Downtown Disney/Cirque questions

Hi all. My mom and I have tickets for Cirque du Soleil while on our trip in November and I'm wondering about transportation to Downtown Disney. If we take the normal bus from our resort, Pop Century, I know there was a second bus stop at either Pleasure Island or West Side, but for the life of me I can't find it on the map. Is there still a second stop? And where is it? Additionally, I was thinking of another way to get there. We will be at Hollywood Studios that day. What if we took the bus from HS to Port Orleans Riverside, and then took the boat to Downtown? I see on the map there are 2 boat docks, one in Marketplace, and one right near the Cirque theater. Does that boat stop at both docks? Would that be a good option? Thanks for any advice!

Kate

Currently only the Marketplace has a Bus Stop:)

The POR boat will dock at Marketplace where you can transfer to another boat that will take you virtually right to The Cirque.(GREAT and FUN option!):)

(Another option-take SSR bus,get off at Congress Park, walk to Marketplace Dock, boat to The Cirque)

WEDWDW- thanks! I didn't know you could take a boat between the docks at Downtown. I thought they were just the docks coming from the resorts. Awesome! We'll do that then, however we end up getting to the Marketplace. :)

we're going in November too (to both Disney & Cirque) and was told after we get off the boat, its only a 10 or so minute walk to Cirque. I personally love DTD in the evening hours, so looking forward to the walk. =)

That's what we did. Made some stops along the way, too :) Edit: never mind - we took the bus, then walked. My bad!

The show is AWESOME. Simply fantastic. I've never seen a show from CDS and was blown away. So much that we skipped Festival of the Lion King two days later, since we thought it would look second-rate in comparison :)

One thing (among many) that really impressed me was that the music is performed live. We figured out soon enough that the singing was live, but didn't know the instruments were being played live until the show ended.

Come to think of it my bad too as we're also taking a bus from CR. =)

Thanks everyone. We may end up walking from the Marketplace too. Depending on how our feet feel at that point. :-) It's early in our vacation so we may actually have some walking left in us. LOL. I've heard how great the show is and we're so excited. I actually bought the tix for my mom for Mother's Day. It's been on our wish list for past trips but we just never made it. Can't wait!

You could also get off at the bus stop at DTD and walk across the new bridge to cut out a lot of walking around the lake. You'll still have a little walk after that, but not much.

Might be a faster option rather than taking the boat across depending on how many people are there. Sometimes the line for the boats gets pretty long

Thanks CAS239! I forgot about that. It's all new to me. They hadn't started the Disney Springs transformation the last time I was there.
