does anybody know wether virgin still do their early check in at downtown disney???

Yes and its great. It is a dedicated area in front of Cirque de Soleil.You drop your cases off,pick up your boarding card and enjoy your last disney day.

They still do it - if you are a Virgin Holidays customer your will get free vouchers with your tickets. If you booked your flights direct with Virgin Atlantic or via another operator then there is a $5 fee per person to use the service.

If you've got ME is it better to use that or Virgins downtown check in, if you get your boarding passes before the ME customers have you a better chance of sitting together. I fully intend to request the seats at the 336 day deadline, just really wondering what to do?

Obviously, the sooner you check in the better your chances of getting the seats you like.

You could do both, check in at DTD and then take ME to the airport. The only downside is that you will still be at the airport early enough to check in there, since VA passengers aren't able to check in at the resort. Or you could do DTD check in and then take a cab to MCO, allowing yourselves a few extra hours for fun.
