Hello, We will be at WDW for 6 days starting next Sat. We want to hit DD after the parks on one day only- Mon, Tues, Wed or Thurs. We will be at AK, MK, EP, and DHS respectively those days. We plan on finsihing in the parks by 2-3:30 and want to head to DD for the Lego Store, walking around a bit, an early dinner and Ghiradelli chocolate! I know this will be a long day and I am prepared for that!

We will be with my 8.5 year old son and are staying off-site so will have a car in the TTC or respective park lots. What is the easiest way to get to DD- drive (if so, from which parking lot is easiest) or by bus (and if so, how do you do this)? We want to make this was easy as possible so ANY of these days will work for us. Is parking still free at DD and is it easy to do with the construction?

Thanks.

Epcot and the Studios are the closest. Having a car, I think I would recommend using that over the bus. Parking is free, unless valet (I think they are still doing valet) in the new multi-deck parking garage. Construction certainly makes it a bit dicey, but doable.

Drive yourself. Easier and a lot quicker.

Easiest parking will be in the back parking lot by cirque du soleil. This will require a decent walk to the stores though. Best parking is in the parking garage. However depending on the day and time you go, the line for the garage can get long.

So if you see a long line and don't mind a brief walk, then go by the back parking lot. If it's not a long line of cars, then the parking garage is the best

I think the best way to get there is to wait until 2016 ;)
