Hi, I plan to spend time in downtown disney and wondered what is the best place to eat using the dining plan. Can you please help me with this? What place has better food?

For QS credits, the best QS restaurant is Wolfgang Express Marketplace in DTD. There is salmon, rotisserie chicken, pizza's (pepperoni, meatball, spicy chicken...), chicken strips, meatloaf wrapped in bacon, salads, sandwiches, pastas ... and for dessert, cream brule, cheesecake, frozen yogurt with fruit. It has refillable drinks and it is almost a TS restaurant (you have servers refilling your drink and bringing you your food after you have ordered it).
Some people will rave about Earl of Sandwich, but we don't love it - it's fine, but for DDP value, Wolfgang Puck Express is much better value. If I was paying OOP, I'd probably be more likely to eat at Earl of Sandwich since it is cheap.
My teens like T-Rex for TS meals, but I have heard a lot of good things about Raglan Road.

thank you so much. I didnt look at wolfgang. I saw a review on the boat house but it's not in the dining plan. shame, it looked great.

Definitely Wolfgang Puck Express. We think it's the best value for quick service credits and eat there twice each trip!

thanks for the replies. I'm so glad I asked. It's our first trip and we chose deluxe dining. I was getting ready to settle for Earl of Sandwich and decided we might as well just pay out of pocket for a sandwich. Wolfgang looks more like a meal.

If you have deluxe dining then you get 3 table service meals a day. So you can actually eat at a restaurant and not waste it at a quick serve unless thats what you want to do. We really likes Bongos.

You don't really get three table service meals a day - you get three meal credits a day. You can combine those however you want, such as one QS meal and two TS meals, two QS meals and one table meal, one TS breakfast and one 2 credit signature meal.

However, spending a deluxe dining credit on Earl of Sandwich is probably not a valuable use of that credit when you could use the same credit to have a full sit-down meal with appetizers included. A sandwich, dessert and drink at Earl would run you less than $15. At a lot of the table service places, you would likely spend at least $15 on the entree alone.
