Our wedding is at 2:30 p.m. and we are not having a reception beyond cake and champagne. We are planning a meal for our guests at 'Ohana for that evening (I am thinking about 8:00) That will leave us with about a four hour block of nothing but downtime. I am really looking forward to wearing my dress to 'Ohana that evening. Any suggestions for activities to fill the time, where the family can remain together, and me in my dress and DF in his tux? :confused3

Where are you staying? Where is your ceremony/reception? The villas all have real nice lounging areas.

My new DH and I will be staying at POFQ and our families will be staying at SOG. Our wedding is a Sea Breeze Point (Boardwalk). And we are having dinner st 'Ohana about 8:00 that evening.

I plan to do our wedding at the same time, but I wanna have dinner a littler earlier to eliminate any waiting around. Since our wedding is going to be at Sunset Point we are just going to be standing around until dinner.

Maybe you can move the dinner up to 6 and then fill time by taking pictures on the Poly beach?

That was kind of what i was thinking. I am sure family is going to want to take pictures, my family is Italian, so pictures are a must! :thumbsup2 That may be a good idea, try and make the blocks of time of waiting smaller.......Thanks!!

The pic idea was also what I was thinking. You could also host a cocktail hour somewhere to fill up more time. Good luck :)
