Downtime for new servers

OK, it's now 2 days later and I'm still having issues with DISboard recognizing that I'm logged in. I log in when I first get here and for a while I'm good, then I'm not and the "log in/sign up" button appears again.

As this doesn't seem to be a generally reported issue, have you tried clearing your local browser's cookies to see if they have somehow got messed up? If you just clear the ones relating to the DIS that would save any issues with any saved settings you have for other sites. Alternatively, if you don't want to do that, could you temporarily try a different browser (it's quick and free to install a copy of Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc) and see if you have the same issue there?

Sorry, as I said, I'm not really computer-savvy.

I primarily use Internet Explorer, but I do have Chrome, also. On IE when I go to post a photo (as I said only on the "DCL picture of the day" thread), I drag and drop the photo in the reply box, and when the little thumbnail shows that it's downloaded I click on "Full Image". It puts the picture in the reply box. Then I click on "Post reply" and I get this:
you must be logged in 1.jpg

So, I try logging on again and the DISboards doesn't recognize me as being logged in at all. I have to go out of DISboards, and out of IE and then come back before I can log in.

I tried posting when using Chrome and had no problems at all.

So what does that mean? (In simple words, please).

I'm sure the admins can help further, but in the meantime if it works in Chrome I'd suggest the simplest solution is to use that rather than IE.

I really wish it could be figured out what's going on. I was just on IE, and was on the Cruise Line board. All seemed to be well, until I opened the "DCL picture of the day" thread. Then I was no longer logged on and every time I tried to log on it just defaulted to the page with the "Log in" button at the top right.
