Just back from a week at the world....much busier than I thought it would be. We brought friends with us (NEVER again!!) but thats a whole other story!!! Before going I was back and forth tying to decide between a Ded 2BR and a Lock-off. I went with the Ded 2br because I felt it would be more comfortable with the 2 beds. The drawbacks were....no safe in the second bedroom and no internet in the second bedroom. So if you are travelling with others you may really want to go with the lockoff.

I agree. I use the dedicated two bedrooms when it's just family and get the lock-offs if it's friends. That way they can come and go as they please without bothering anyone else.

Just a reminder that OKW lockoffs have 2 beds in the studio portion, as all OKW studios have 2 queens beds, no sofa sleeper.

Would have to agree that the lock-offs are so much better when bringing friends. We had a dedicated at OKW for one night and that was enough for me. I didn't feel like we had the privacy that the lock-offs allow.

Good to hear because we have choosen a lock-off for our December trip. It is with family not friends but they are my in-laws and I figured they will want to close the door and get a break from us as well as us getting a break from them ;)

I didn't think about the safe only being in the MBR. But we usually bring our airport express router so the whole villa has wifi (password protected).

Thanks for the tip off.

I never thought of that second safe thing. The last big trip with others it was my bro and his family and really we are close knit so it bother anybody for people to be in various rooms, the kids were often hanging out with us in the Master bedroom chatting with my hubby who was sitting at the desk on his laptop. We had set up wireless router as well for other laptops.

I had to laugh, at SSR the kids cared less about the Master bath, but at AKV Kidani they played Rock Scissors Paper to see who would get to take a bath first in the tub :lmao::lmao:

Again hubby nor I minded as the kids are all good and even though they wanted to hang with us, they weren't clingy or loud -- they just wanted a break from Mom and Dad :lmao::rotfl2:
