When burning the CD it will prompt you to finalize, just say no then you can add additional photos. As with the gig card, you can literally take thousands of shots on that card. Why not just sort them at home and burn them there or at a photo store?![]()
I have a Fuji camera and a xD 1gig card and the settings I have the camera set on, I can hold 3200 photos. I will never take that many in one trip.![]()

You're assuming that everyone has a low MP camera (or shoots at low-rez).
Although a 1GB card can hold a LOT of images, "thousands" is a bit of a stretch.
Here's the breakdown.
A 1GB card can hold:
853 images at 3MP
512 images at 4MP
409 images at 5MP
320 images at 6MP
A 256MB card can hold:
213 images at 3MP
128 images at 4MP
102 images at 5MP
80 images at 6MP
