I don't see it mentioned often, but i've downloaded the wdw e-guides to go onto my palm. the guide itself is a little outdated and not that useful, but their menu file is handy (updated by deb wills) and the live entertainment file (updated by steve soares) is updated weekly and is very nice to have.

the problem for this trip is that we're leaving early on a saturday. the entertainment schedule for the week we'll be there won't be available to download until after we've left.

does anyone know if/how i'd be able to download the file onto my palm once we get to wdw?

at home i put my palm (an older model) into a cradle which is attached to my computer through a serial port. the computer has the palm software loaded onto it. i download the file onto my computer, then push the hotsync button.

the more i think about it, it doesn't seem likely that i'll be able to do anything at WDW, but i just thought i'd ask....

thanks,
dj

I don't think you'll be able to. I take my laptop which has Earthlink wireless service so I don't have to worry about the info in my Palm going kaput while on vacation. I'm not sure if they allow you to even do it at an area library because you'll need a membership to use the computers. Sorry.
