I know this has been discussed before but I can't seem to find what I am looking for....For those of you who just got back and used a digital cam were there spots in disney where you could download shots (I would like to avoid bringing my laptop!)? If there are -where are they and how much do they charge? :confused3

I know they do it at cvs and walgreens etc but we are not having a rental this time so on property would be nice! Thanks in advance for your help :goodvibes

I know Mk in Exposion Hall you can download to CD for 12.00.

You can get your pics downloaded in the camera shops at all four theme parks. Cost is $12 per CD, limit 120 pics.

The Exposition Hall at MK also has self-service machines for downloading your pics to CD.

On those trips when you do have a rental car, Walgreens is the best option; they charge $4 per CD for as many pics as the CD will hold.

Once they download you a CD -- CHECK THE CD IMMEDIATELY TO MAKE SURE YOUR PICTURES ARE THERE ! ! !

I have heard that some people (other posters) had their pictures downloaded, and, once they got home, found their CD completely empty -- no pictures. :sad2:

OH MY GOD! I would be sooo upset if that happened! Thanks for all the advice, now I know where to look. I know disney is overpriced but since we are going for 6 nights and we are 2 adults not leaving property we thought we would save the $$$ and give dis transportation a try! Thanks again. :sunny:

If you use the self serve machines at MK, make sure you give yourself some time. I did 240 pix from a memory stick pro and the total time was around 45 minutes, so don't plan on popping in and out.

Where is the closest Walgreen's?

There are several in the WDW area.

If you are staying in teh MK or Downtown Disney area, you can try the one on SR 535. Go to Downtown Disney, follow Hotel Plaza Blvd to the end where it deadends at SR535 (the Crossroads shopping center will be in front of you). Turn left to go north on SR535 and the Walgreens will be on the left side about 1/8 mile up.

From the Epcot resorts area, take Epcot Center drive off Disney property, turn left on SR 536, and the Walgreens will be on the left next to one of the entrances to Vistana.

From the AK resort area, take World Drive to US192, make sure to take the exit for US 192 EAST, and the Walgreens will be on the left side about 2 miles up, at the intersection of US 192 and International Drive South.

Our memory card on our camera only holds 90 pics, can I buy the cd, put 90 on one time, and add the other 30 on the next day? Does it cost?

Bring the laptop. My daughter was the hit of the Orlando airport. She had 3 other kids watching The Incredibles with her on the laptop. Plus we were able to e-mail pics to friends and family while we were there.

Personally, I would look for a sale and buy extra cards/sticks. I was at Epcot and they told me to leave and come back in 2 hours!!!! No thank you.

Next day at MK machine was broken.

Lesson learned...don't count on it.

You can drive to wal mart and make a cd for less than $5.00.

But to save the $$ and time I would take the laptop!

No, once you have a CD burned you can not add pics to it. In your case you would wind up with a bunch of CDs each with 90 pics on them.

You dont have this option at the park even though you can on your own pc. The session will be closed.

Why don't you upgrade your memory card? I bought a 512 MB and on average setting I can get about 900 pics. On the better quality setting - I can get about 500 shots for a 2 week vacation. It is much easier than running around to Walmart. Just my humble opinion!

I know you said you really dont want to take your laptop, but maybe reconsider if you have a small one? Im a tech person, so i had my laptop with me last trip. Im a bit of a amature photographer, so what i do is dump each days pictures to my laptop and spend a few min before bed going though them seeing what i might want to get a better picture of if i get a chance. I took roughly 350 photos last trip :D

Its just alot easier for me to know i got the shot, and know i have it on my laptop, Plus that means each day i can take up to 160 pictues on my smallish card.
