Can anyone tell me what time DTD closes on a Friday night? I can't decide to stay close to Port or WDW. Would love to shop Friday night at DTD and then spend the day at the Magic Kingdom on Saturday. Our flight does not come in until 8:30 PM. Not for sure if this will give us enough time. Thanks in advance for any information.

I beleive DTD closes around 11pm that is the stores, clubs open later.

You do have plenty of time for MK if your plane leaves at 8p. Our flight was at 6p and we had a great last day in the park. We got there at opening rode our favs. had early lunch rode a few more, went and had ice cream. Left the park at 2:30p back to WL.
We did use ME so we had to follow that schedule. we had plent y of time.

Do you usually have to wait for Magic Express? I know you don't have to get your luggage (which kind of scares me) and if you could get to your room pretty quick we could shop.

you are given a time for your bus, we waited about 30min for our bus, we didnt want to miss it. You just show up with your voucher and they put you on the bus. We have done the ME 2x's and find it to be very good. We flew with united and they have resort airline check in, along with other airlines. When you check out of the hotel in the A.M. you can get you boarding passes at the hotel, they take your luggage for you they have TSA workers doing the screening. You dont have to get you luggage when you get to the airport just your carry on. You have alreay checked in at the resort for your flight.
