I never thought it would get here! We're flying out Christmas morning, sounds like a lot of us will be there at Christmastime. Now if I can get through all the Christmas preparations and then concentrate on packing!
We too are doing the single dance. And I mean the single dance! We are off for WDW very soon and are hoping that rain will not damper the activities. Wish us luck. Maybe we will see you there--we leave the 30th to come home. Have fun!
I just barely started . I do not know how much of winter stuff I should be packing. How does one dress to the park when it's 40's in the morning and 70's in the afternoon?
Today is officially the first day of our single digit dance
I'm just a little excited Haven't started to pack yet but my lists are all ready. All my Christmas shopping is done and presents wrapped. Since we're leaving 2 days after Christmas, atleast that's out of the way. I keep checking the local weather sites to get a better idea of what to pack. More shorts or more jeans and sweatshirts. I hope we all have great weather, safe, healthy and happy vacations.
Hey Madge, We're not the only family flying ON Christmas morning We leave Michigan at 10:30 and with a layover get into MCO at about 5. We have dinner PS at Chef Mickey's for that night.
Packed - HAH that is for over achievers. I plan to do a mad fling into our suitcases this weekend. I do have a bunch of items piled in a basket to remember to take. We need to pack nice clothes for our 4-day Wonder cruise too.
As for what to pack, two years ago (arrived 12/27) the weather was unseasonably cool - a high of 50 most days. We Michiganians didn't even bring a coat - we left them in the car at the airport. BIG mistake. We are taking our early spring jackets this year. Most days we were fine with a hooded sweatshirt for the DS and jean. It was a good excuse to buy more sweatshirts
CAN'T WAIT TO VISIT MICKEY AND ALL HIS FRIENDS!!!!!!
Dancin with you guys!!!!! We arrive Christmas evening!!! Packed??? You have GOT to be kidding!!!! I work better under pressure! Who had the question on how to dress? Layers is the name of the game....t-shirt under a sweatshirt is the way to go most days...but bring that coat...gloves too! It gets chilly waiting for those parades! A couple of years ago when we were there we wore our winter coats most of the time!!! Makes it feel more like Christmas!!! Seriously....there IS NO BAD WEATHER in the House of Mouse!!!! Even rain and cold are magical there!! Wear your lime green ya'll...I'll be lookin for ya!!! Safe trips to everybody!!
OK guys, we are leaving for WDW very soon and are all packed. Packing was a pain this time. I didn't know whether to pack shorts or jeans, so I packed both. Not too mention a suitcase full of Christmas gifts, stockings, etc. Wish us well as we will soon be playing and vacating in Florida.
