Down to 2 villa's Help me pick one

Please fellow diser's help me decide between these two beautiful villas.

hard - both are excellent.

before windsor hills - emerald was the place.

Don't know what's important to you. We stayed in the home to the right of the one in Emerald Island. The pool is north facing and we didn't get a lot of sun but did notice that the homes on either side of us had decks that extended further and did get the early morning sun and mid afternoon to evening sun.
If you look on the map I moved marker #15 for Emerald Island to point at your home. It's very close to the clubhouse, about a 3 min walk. Also had long legged cranes outside the pool screen that visited every day. Nice view.

The home in Windsor Palms has a pool area that would get the east and south sun. The 429 highway is on the other side of the brick wall but I don't think it's too noisy. I moved marker #13 to point to that house in WP.

(I checked both homes on the Tax appraiser site.)
We really liked Emerald Island, very well looked after but I haven't stayed at WP only Windsor Hills.

Give me the conservation view any day of the week. I don't like the view of the fence nearly as well. I spent so many afternoons and evenings by the pool and enjoyed the conservation view so much that it is the top requirement for our next trip!

Both homes are so much alike even decor it looks like. I personally think you would enjoy either.

I have a bias for EIR so it would be there if my choice.

When are you going? If it is over the winter and you will need pool heat, I would go with the one with the south facing pool. We are big pool loungers on vacation and I'm a sun worshipper so to me that is very important.

If you don't plan on using the pool that much, it's a tougher decision.

But...also wanted to mention that I believe IslaBonita? (in another post) mentioned that Emerald Island had a tiki bar with food at the main pool area? That is something else that I really like if we have had a busy day and just want to hang out in the evening at the pool and not cook at all.

Both are beautiful,WP the pool area is very pvt. Do you know if you have neighbors to your right or left at EI. As for me pool privacy is very important so I might go for WP. You can't go wrong just take a vote.

I have experienced both communities.

I love Emerald Island for its feeling of space and grandure (especially in the Enclave section). It is a larger resort than Windsor Palms. If you plan to spend time at the clubhouse you may find yourself driving if you don't like to walk far. EI has the tiki bar but the rest of the amenities are not on a par with WP.

Windsor Palms is a smaller community and overall has better community facilities. You can probably walk from any home on WP to the clubhouse area. It does not have a tiki bar but does have a great community store. I also know the owner of the WP home and he is very active on the HOA there.

As far as distances go, WP is a little further out, but it makes only a couple of minutes difference in driving times.

Both are great communities, with different feelings. If you were going to spend more time at 'home' then I would recommend WP over EI due to the better amenties. However, if amenities are not an issue, then I would go with the home that worked better for my needs.

Things I would consider:

pool aspect
owner response (prompt, courteous, well written etc)
how well the home meets my needs (bedding, pool. spa, other amenities such as wi-fi etc)

I like the home in Windsor Palms, decor and furnishings better. However, both look nice! Just a preference. Plus they seemed to include a lot.

Windsor Palms- it has 3 bathrooms. I think the other only had 2.
Plus I liked it's looks better.
