Down By The Boardwalk, Out By The Mouse. 3/11 Jen's New PTR Pg. 69

I was a couple updates behind -- the resort I would choose, I haven't done much research on parks outside of DL or WDW, so I'll just stick with those for now. I REALLY want to stay at the Grand Californian. I love the architecture and style of it. At WDW, the Poly. No questions.

Club level and best view at both please. ::yes::

As for non-park/non-DTD activity - we haven't done much! We are big on resort hopping and just checking the other ones out. I think it's fun to let Henry loose on the various playgrounds around the World too. TK has a most wonderful answer as well with the Tea! YUM!

I think I need to get into a spa or something!

HAPPY FRIDAY!! WOOT WOOT We're Both in our Teens!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY

Loving all your answers!! I'm starting to think I need to resort hop more!! There are a few resorts I haven't visited yet and that would be a lot of fun!! This trip Animal Kingdom baby!!! I'm going!!!!!

So I'm sure Leslie will be around with our QOTD...of course I'm behind on one of my answers LOL!!!! So blame me LOL!!!!!

This weekend is going to be filled with shopping for both of us, so we'll definitely have a shopping update coming soon!!!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!!!

One of my very favorite things to do on Disney trips! ::yes::

I think my favorite thing to do would be to resort hop. Though I think I may try to add a tea I really wanted to do it and we do have 4 non-park days so I am sure I can add it in. I will let you know for sure when I get back.

Yes please do!!! The tea is absolutely wonderful you would not regret doing it for one second!!!!

I've been slacking this week with our questions! Sorry everyone, it's been ONE of those weeks which makes me even more grateful that our trip is almost here!

It feels like we have been planning this trip forever and I'm ready for it to be here.

Question of the Day....

If you were snowed in today, what two Disney movies would you watch??

Jen - Beauty & the Beast and Sleeping Beauty.

Leslie - Ratatouille and Pollyanna.

What would your choices be??

In other exciting news, I'm STILL having bag angst. I went out last night and looked around some more and have settled that the mail bag is probbably my best option. I have one on hold at a store in the very berry paisley pattern but when I woke up this morning I decided that I should go to the Vera Bradley Outlet that is about 30 minutes away to see if I can find any good deals. Wish me luck!

I would watch The Princess Diaries and Finding Nemo.

Good luck at the VB Outlet! Just know too that the spring stuff comes out on Thursday! I am already planning my next purchase.:rolleyes:

Good luck on your bag quest, LL! I love my mailbag!

Well, funny you should mention the whole snowed-in thing since according to the weather forecast, it is a real possibility here for Monday!

I would have to theme the movies around the snow -- 101 Dalmatians and Bedknobs and Broomsticks. (I am filing that away in my mind now!)

So, I have to tell you -- I went looking for a comprehensive list of all the movies Disney has ever made so I could choose which ones I wanted for this post.

Do you know they are doing a remake of Swiss Family Robinson for 2012? I had no idea!

And And And...

Are you ready for this???

A Jungle Cruise movie for 2013 as well!!!! :woohoo:

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: for fifteen days! That is so great!

Well it looks like we ARE getting snow today, so I think Disney movies are a great idea. So what would I watch:

Toy Story 3 because I absolutely LOVE that movie
Bolt - because I keep falling asleep in the middle of it and then I wake up at the part where they end up in Las Vegas and they keep singing....there ain't no home like the one you got, cause that one belongs to you!

Well since that question had me stumped so much.....I just love them all so much I couldn't pick....so I asked Megan! She picked Snow White (shocking, I know!) and Beauty and the Beast! :) Gotta love our princesses!

So sorry for the bag angst......what were the issues you had with the bags from the September trip?

Toy Story Blu-Ray is the going movie here. In the house, in the van, anywhere we have to watch any of the three movies to make Buzz happy. However I have my Summer Magic watcher now- Hannah watched it last night at a sleepover with my parents. She demands to watch it again today with me, so we will see.

Good luck Vera shopping. I have my own vera issues...
I got a new purse, new style and pattern for Christmas, complete with matching wallet, but I am mad I did it... I like the angled tote and I should have gotten again in the pattern, oh well!

You're getting so close!:yay: Hope you are able to find a solution to your bag angst. I used the Vera villager last trip and really liked it. Hope you find something that works (& is on sale!)

Hope you are having a fun filled day shopping!! :goodvibes And I hope you have success!!! :)

I think I will go with Snow White and Enchanted :goodvibes

Too funny that they are making a Jungle Cruise movie!!!:rotfl2: They must be watching this thread!!!

Tracy

LOL!! I went to check it out and sure enough they are making a movie about the Jungle Cruise in 2013...I tell you are we good with our questions or what LOL!!!!!!

So you know all this talk about bags:rolleyes1 I may or may not have caved and gotten my all time favorite pattern in my saddle bag and zip around wallet for the trip. Okay I did...I got them in Purple Punch the same pattern as my weekender!!! I will have 2 bags with me at Disney, my cargo sling and the saddle up bag (I figure a day bag and an evening bag)!!!!

Jungle Cruise Movie???? TOO FUNNY! Or should I say punny!

My DD7 has a bag (don't know which style it is) in Purple Punch. It's very cute and every time we see someone with that pattern, she always notices and points it out!

LL - hope you found a good bag!

Movies I would watch ?? Wow, tough one. Probably whatever I got last! HA!
No, actually, I always enjoy the Parent Trap and Princess Diaries (1 or 2). For animated - probably Beauty and the Beast.

We may be snowed in this weekend!! So if that happens I would watch a marathon of Pirates of the Caribbean and Enchanted.
