Dowmtown Disney

Ok, This may seem like a silly question but do you have to have any pass or ticket to get into Downtown Disney ? like the rainforest or other shopping during the day or night? I remember last time we were there and the kids played in the fountains. but i can not remember if we used our pass And can we walk there from the Doubletree Gest suites?

No passes needed except for Pleasure Island or DisneyQuest.

As an addendum to DisneyHumbug, you only have to pay admission to Pleasure Island after 7:00pm.

We stayed at the Marriott on the same street and it only took 5-8 minutes to walk to DTD. From Double Tree I would add another 3-5 minutes depending on the people walking.
There are sidewalks that meander down the sides of the street. It makes a nice walk, especially after eating at the Gourmet Pantry.
