Doubting my decision-all advice welcome

we need an accessible room for dmil ( specifically roll in shower )

Switched from cbr to ssr due to refurb ( we are at the resort during the day, plus we eat there)

Now wondering whether we should opt for fort wilderness cabin and therefore we could park right outside
Or, AOA suite
Or ,stick with ssr studio


Head is spinning... Please assist...thanks guys.

IS this room for just her or all of you? I have never stayed in a cabin but can you park right outside of it? You can park pretty close to the bldgs at SSR. I love staying at SSR. The cabins would have a lot more space than SSR studio.

I would probably go for something with more room than a studio unless you were getting OKW which has the two beds and the rooms are much larger.

Disney is just so accommodating of guests with mobility disabilities, I've heard people rave time and again about the level of respect and helpful guest services they receive in this regard. Honestly I don't blame you for switching from CBR, we just switched from there to AoA ourselves (while I appreciate that Disney is offering gift cards to guests staying at CBR during the construction, we just couldn't justify a vacation-sized investment for a less-than-perfect resort lacking it's dining and conveniences). I think each resort is accommodating in their own way, but if you're looking for the convenience of parking near your room combined with a spacious room and a solid food court on premises with a nice mix of fresh healthy foods and yummy Disney fare, a suite at Art of Animation might be a great fit for you. The Cabins at Fort Wilderness are another option since you can drive right up and park, but if you like to eat at the resort you stay at, you're going to have to get back in the car so there's a slight disadvantage as far as convenience goes. Maybe give Disney customer service a call with details about the guests traveling in your party and I'm sure they'll have some helpful suggestions and pros and cons for you- no matter where you end up staying, I hope you have a lovely vacation!
