Doubloon Sail and Snorkel or St. John Barefoot Catamaran?

My fiance and I are looking for a good excursion for St. Thomas and these two look fun..Anyone been on them? I don't really like to snorkel, but I love to sail

I am a HUGE fan of the Doubloon tour. They have a pretty good website www.doubloon.com. They motor out to the snorkle site. The snoklering was very good. On the way back they hoist sails and take their time. They offer frosty adult beverages on the way back if you like that sort of thing. They take a picture of each person on the boat and post it on thier website

Another neat thing is they give everyone a pirate tatoo which can be real fun for pirate night!

To me this was one of the best, if not the best excursion I have ever been on.

My vote is for Doubloon also. Went with 3 kids and 4 adults. We had a great time. The crew was terrific and made the entire trip fun. Here are picture of our group.

I did the Doubloon excursion and it was very good but it was all about snorkeling. You may want to try the other one, if you are into sailing.

Hi. I, too, am interestered in the Doubloon excursion. Can you tell me how much for adult? children?

And for those that have been on the Doubloon...are there any 'pirates' on the ship? Do the ham it up? My 4 yo would love that!

Two thumbs up for the doubloon sail My two sons still talk about it. The crew is not dressed up like pirates, but they are very fun and playfully bossy with the kids. They have them hoist the sails and steer the ship back to port. The serve banana rum drinks and soda on the way back. The snorkling was pretty good. The crew definetly made it a trip to remember! One of the highlights of our cruise.

Another vote for the Doubloon ! It's the best excursion we've been on. The crew and the sailing are fantastic. We didn't snorkel the whole time because the boat was so much fun. My kids (DD age 6 DS age 5) said it was their favorite thing from the trip.

We went with another family from the disboards and that made our trip even more special!
