We got in on the $9 airfare through Jet America and convinced friends of ours to go with us! This unexpected vacation will have to be a budget vacation and we are looking at options. The other family has 3 kids, so we are looking at suites.
Fairfield Inn was $99/n and includes breakfast. Doubletree was $89 and only includes continental breakfast.
Anyone able to compare them and the transportation provided?
Other options?
Thank you in advance for your advice and help!

I stayed at the Doubletree in Dec and would definitely stay there again! I took a last minute trip with 3 of my kids and my Mom and there was plenty of room. The rooms were clean. There was a sitting room with TV, sleeper couch and chair. The bedroom had 2 double beds and we had enough room for a single aerobed for my youngest. There was also a mini fridge & coffeepot.

The breakfast was fine -- nothing special but OK. Mostly fruit, cereal, pastries, an omelet station (for an additional fee) and waffles I think. You could upgrade to the "hot" breakfast for like $5 per person but we did not choose to.

We did not rent a car so we used their bus transportation and had no problem with it. We did only go to MK & Epcot so I cannot comment on transportation to the other parks. The bus did stop at 2 other hotels but we never waited for more than 10 minutes and never had to stand.

If I could not stay on property (I own DVC) I would certainly stay here again. :thumbsup2
