Thanks for the tip! I just got off the phone - we're booked :thumbsup2

I'm trying to book this for 4/9 and it's coming up not available. Am I doing something wrong?

I just tried it again for our Aug 7 date and the $49 rate is still available.
Go to travelzoo.com and at the top click "hotels only", type in Orlando and a list will come up on the next page. It is about half way down the list. It does say it is good until June but when I put in my Aug date it gave me the $49 rate. After I booked and received my email confirmation, I called to confirm and I definitely have the $49 rate!!:cool1:

For my date, 4/9, is says "corporate rate is unavailable".

Well that STINKS!! I would maybe try calling either Doubletree or contact Travelzoo. The blackout dates are only listed as April25-29. I can see April 9 being a blackout date, isn't that easter week? But since it is not listed i would see what they say. Good Luck.

I would love to stay at the Castle but I can't find the $49 rate. How do you search for it? I went on Travelzoo...very confusing. All those pop up sites to search each one. If it is on one of those links can you tell me which one? The cheapest price I can find is $72. :confused3

When I spoke with them on the phone she told me it was $5 each for park transportation to and $5 per person back, so for us it brings us up to the price of a value with the room discount......but it is a good deal if you rent a car or have your own with you.

Go to the travelzoo hotel deals, then orlando and look down the list, the discount is in for you if you follow through the travelzoo site to book

That could really add up! We just needed 1 night before our week at BCV and then week at CSR!!! We will have a car for that night and then turn in to rental desk at Dolphin. We have done this before and it is so easy.

Thank you OP! I got it! I booked a king NS for $49 for Nov 3rd.

To the OP...I might need a place to stay when DH finds out I just extended our vacation by one night.

Anyone stayed there before???

We have and it's an excellent hotel for $49/night. It's actually closer to Universal than WDW and even though it's entrance is on Major Blvd it's an easy walk to International Drive and all of the food, shopping, etc. it has to offer. Last time we were there the pool wasn't heated, I would ask before you jumped in. I went there in October and it was like jumping into an icy pond

Hello, It looks like you are booking a Corporate Rate for KESSLER COLLECTION. Anyone know if this would be honoured? Thanks

Its from travelzoo so I am sure it will be honored we have used lots of there deals in past, and I believe Kessler Corp is who owns hotel, I saw it on the website for castle the name somewhere.

I've booked it as it looks like a good deal. Was just worried that they would as for ID at the hotel for Kessler

MandM-Mom is right. The Doubletree Castle is a Kessler hotel. We are booked for that rate the first week of June :yay:

It does look great - we are there for Christmas and are looking to get married there....

Glad you guys are getting the $49 rate!! I did call the hotel after I booked with travelzoo and saw the "Kessler" rate code and I was told it is a valid rate.
