Doubletree Buffet???

Is this Buffet free for all guests or are there just certain plans that get you a free buffet????

And if there is a cost what is it????

we stayed at the doubletree in fort lauderdale, so i am not sure if the hotel programs are the same, BUT at the fortlauderdale one- NOone told us other wise, so our first morning my daughters and i went to the very BEAUTIFUL and immpressive buffet and asked a waiter of the buffet was for all the guests OR just part of the restuarnt( there were 2 section, one area by the buffet and one buy the dining looking outside) and he told us FOR ALL THE GUESTs. so we went ahead and filled up out plates......!!!! we turn around and there was the restaurant manager, and 2 waiters.- turned out that you had to PAY afterall - i just about died. so..we asked the front desk and they saidthat IF we signed up for hilton honors club we could eat from the fruit buffet....not the hot items- they costed$$ (i forget how much) so- i would ask your front desk person and not the restaurant people.
i am sorry to sound biter, but our stay at that hotel was jsut horrible even the concienare was a dufuss
and we were there for 5 days pre-paid so we had no where else to go.

The buffet is not free. I'm trying to remember, but I think that adults paid about $10/person and kids were less. We ate there twice. I have Hilton Honors and did not get a free buffet.

Thanks for the info....I got a room through Mousesavers and it says buffet requested....I think I will call the hotel and find out if it is included or not....the 800 number says there are packages that due include it but she couldn't tell from my ressie if it was or not...

Did you see the Embassy Suites deal above?? Not in DTD, but thier breakfast buffet is Free and is a great deal.
I have stayed at Doubletree's in the past and don't recall a free breakfast buffet as part of thier deal.

Called today the package through Mousesavers does include a buffet breakfast for free....

we only got the fruit part of the breakfast free after we signeed up for hilton honnors and used the little pass they gave us. like i said, it was not worth it if we had to pay for it.

Was this because you chose only fruit or that was all that was left or they wouldn't let you have anything else.

The Buffet is listed as part of my ressie...and for 6 people it's better then nothing I hope or paying for 6 to eat breakfast...

we got the fruit part because thats what the ticket they gave was good for- we would have had to pay the balance for the hot part. there was plenty, - they did not run out. jsut what they told me.
I also want to point out again that we were at the double tree in fort lauderdale, not the one in orlando. i have never been to the orlando one so i have no clue what they have there as far and food, service etc.
