Double Tree Oceanfront Cocoa Beach

Just curious to see of anyone has stayed at the Double Tree Oceanfront on Cocoa Beach? We are booked there the night before our August cruise. The web site made it look nice, but I didn't know if they were affected hard by last years huricanes or not. Any input on the Double Tree would be greatly appreicated. I had originally booked us for the Radisson but decided we wanted something "oceanfront". TIA for any input!

We stayed there the night before our cruise in Feb of '04. It was fine. Your basic hotel room. We got 2 rooms via Priceline (3 star hotel) for only $45.00 each room....their website at the time were showing rooms starting at $100. per night.

The pool was on the small side but fine, and there was no hot tub, which I thought a hotel that size would have. The rooms were clean and functional. They give you great warm choc. chip cookies upon check in!!!

Does the Double Tree have free cruise parking and a hotel shuttle or Art's shuttle?
