has anyone ever used this stroller in WDW? This is the stroller we currently have, but I'm not sure how it will fare in Disney, especially when trying to fold and carry on busses! I want to rent a double stroller (not through Disney). Wife wants to bring ours

Forgot to add, kids will be 1 and 2.5 at the time

If you're thinkabout renting a Double City Mini they are fabulous!! Folds easily, and is fairly compact. Never used ours in Disney but I've loved it at home.

Yes! That was the one I wanted to buy, but my wife didn't want a side by side :(

The strollers at Disney are not for little kids. They're hard plastic and I can't imagine trying to use it for a 1 year old and 2.5 year old. I've rented them before for my dd when she was 5 for a couple of the days that I knew it'd be a lot easier for her to have somewhere to sit, but it's nothing like a real stroller for home. For our kids, we always bring our regular full size stroller through age 4. I also brought a sit n stand 2 of the years and rented a double from Kingdom strollers. Taking a stroller on the bus isn't fun in general, but it's also absolutely doable and is well worth it. I'd def. stick to your own stroller or renting one from one of the companies that will deliver it to your resort. -There will be many other families with double strollers on the bus, it's just part of life there lol.

The city mini double is much easier to push and navigate than a tandem double stroller. There is better weight distribution so it is easier to turn. Less stress on the arms. And it fits through a typical door opening.

We have rented a double city mini on our past two trips and they are soooo easy to push and navigate the parks! This last time we rented from Orlando Stroller Rentals and the one we got was in excellent condition and came with a free parent console, rain cover, and a little soft sided cooler for us to keep.

Just make sure you can fold it quickly when the bus arrives. You really don't want to be standing with the bus doors open, struggling to fold up the stroller and manage all the stuff in the stroller. Otherwise, you might be waiting on the next bus while everyone just bypasses you.

The rental ones are like luxury cars. :D They're awesome. We were coming from using a Sit 'N Stand though, and I found it to be a beast to maneuver in Disney World - especially if you have an older/heavier kid sitting in it. We rented a City double from Kingdom Strollers and it rode like a dream, even though it was a double-wide. Big difference with us though is that we are car drivers (stay offsite), so getting the stroller packed for a bus isn't an issue, as we don't use it. If you're current stroller is relatively easy to fold up, I'd go with that.

I would rent as the City Minis are so much easier to push. I didn't want a side by side at home but I loved it at WDW. Totally worth renting. We used Baby Wheels Orlando and they were great, even when we added on an extra day.

Well We have some recent experience with this. We went to WDW over Halloween week. Somehow, we FORGOT our Sit and Stand double stroller at home. We thought, the older kids, 2 and 5 will be fine walking, WRONG. After the first day, we contacted Magic Strollers and rented a City GT Double Stroller (side by side) for the rest of the trip. Just looking at it, I thought it was going to be terrible. We learned about 5 minutes after opening it that these are the best strollers on earth. We came home, sold our sit and stand, and bought one of these for ourselves. Tell your wife, she REALLY needs to try one of these strollers if she hasn't yet before deciding she doesn't want one. MUCH easier to handle and push.

We've rented a double City Mini several times for twin grandsons from Magic Strollers and LOVED them. My husband found them easy to fold up and get in the buses and we both found them very easy to push around the parks. Service is excellent and the strollers have always been in great condition.

We rented a city mini double and it was awesome! It doesn't cost that much to rent and it really is a great stroller. We rented from Apple strollers

We love the double CityMini and also bought one after renting a few times. It is a great stroller, the only one my kids would sleep in.

The city select is amazing too if you don't want the side by side. We can fit 3 kids on it (5,3 & 1) roughly 100lbs of kid and I can stear it one handed

We've rented from magic strollers and kingdom strollers. They're so nice....light, easy to push and fold.

Over the years and 4 kids we have had many strollers that have journeyed to WDW and DL. We have used a sit n'stand at WDW and had no problems. We have also used Phil and Ted double (side by side) as well as Bob double. The P&T was the most challenging to fold as it was heavy. The bob and SnS folded up easily. The bob seemed to take up about as much space as the P&T, but was lighter. Maneuvering around the parks with the later two is a breeze!

We love our City Mini double (it's a 4 year old regular model, not the GT). As mentioned it is easy to push and has a high weight capacity (I think 50 lbs per "side", 100 lbs total) so it it "grows" well with your kids especially if there is a fairly big size difference between them. Pretty quick and easy to fold up but it is still quite "bulky", heavy and awkward when folded.

you want a city mini! you can push it with ONE HAND and both kids can see. We rented ours from apple rentals- they were amazing and it only cost $60 for the entire week
