Double-Stroller vs 2 Single Strollers w/Lionheart Connectors

Has anyone used the Lionheart connectors that turn 2 single strollers into a tandem? Do they work, or are they cheap pieces of plastic? Do they make the stroller difficult to maneuver?

We're debating between the Maclaren Twin Techno, or 2 individual Techno XT's for our 20-month-old twins. The obvious benefit of 2 individual strollers is the ability for DH and I to split-up in the parks, and each take one child. I'm just not sure how much this would happen.

We don't have twins....but have always used two single strollers! Sometimes dd would be napping and one of us would sit quietly w/ her under a tree, or at a CS while the other took ds on a few rides.

It is much easier to navigate through crowds w/ 2 single strollers too! And I never found myself having to say "keep your hands to yourself" as they were in separate strollers.

We're doing the 2 singles. I've debated about this a long time and spent much time camped out in the stroller aisle. I put the kids in the Twin Techno and they just seems too close for comfort. I also kpet kicking the center wheel.

So we think 2 singles will be nice. It will be easier to push, better to navigate crowds. If 1 was napping we could keep that one sleeping in the stroller and bring it up to the table at restaurants. NOt sure we could do that w/ a double. Also if napping the other one won't be likely to disturb his brother and get in some sleep.

I'm buying the Quest. We have a Techno XT and I was just looking at it today. It has the very large wheels on it. We're doing the busses and I think having 2 of those will be very bulky.

The Quest will be fine for you too. It has the leg extenders and good recline.
