double stroller questions

We're considering renting a City Mini Double stroller for DD 2.5 and DS 5 (he's small) for our upcoming trip. Has anyone noticed any issues with renting/using a double stroller in the parks? (problems with it fitting through doorways, etc). What about on the busses? Is is difficult to fold or heavy to drag onto the bus? Thanks!

Any advice would be appreciated. DS has not been stroller age for a while at home, but at Disney, we'd like the option.

My kids are 6 1/2 and 4 and I've just decided to bring our city classic double stroller next week when we go. Last year we brought a city mini single and my then 5 year old got sick and wanted to ride the whole time and we ended up having to carry the almost 3 year old everywhere, or balance him on the canopy. Honestly, the double is only a few inches wider and it pushes nicer and everyone has them. You're not going to stand out with a double at all, and they definitely fit through doorways. I just know at the end of the day when we have a long walk back to our hotel, or if we have to go from the world showcase to our dinner reservation at the Garden Grill, both kids are going to want to ride. I am all about making them walk whenever possible, but WDW is just 100x the walking of anything else they experience on a daily basis, and I want us all to be happy. We can always park it and leave it until we need it again. Baby Jogger strollers fold super easy, and while it will be heavy to lift on the bus, you only have to carry it a few feet. It isn't a big deal.

Last time we rented a City Mini Double and we had no problem fitting through doors of stores and the room. It was easy to fold up and carry onto the bus too

Thank you! I'm a bit of a penny-pincher but this seems definitely worth it to me. We don't have our own double stroller & I've heard good things about the rental companies.
