Hi, we are going to Disney again this October and at this time my girls will be 5 and 3
I am looking for an umbrella style stroller, probably a side by side because they are easier to get in and out of. I would like one with a basket on the bottom and it easy to fold up for getting on and off of the buses.

I have the heavy double stroller now and my girls and getting to big for that and it is such a pain to fold down for the busses.

So if any one has such a stroller or knows of one, could you please help me out here.

Thanks, Minnie!

We have a Kolcraft double umbrella that we bought specifically for a WDW trip. It folds up small, has two canopies and each seat reclines a little. The only thing is that it doesn't have a basket, but we added mesh storage bags. It was everything we were looking for in a stroller, but it was very hard to maneuver and my girls were 2 and 4. In fact, it was SOOOO hard to maneuver that we rented a stroller a day or two just to give us a break. We're driving for our next trip (November) and we've decided to just bring the big comfy Graco front to back double that we have because it is a little easier to maneuver and we'll have a new baby daughter with us for that trip.

Good luck.

I don't know if you're traveling with another adult, but we find it's easy to use two liteweight umbrellas for the kids. They are easy to manuever and fold for trips on trams.

We also use two umbrella strollers rather than a double. This gives us the chance to split up if needed, and it is easier to get around, and fold up for the busses. We also got the mesh storage compartments for the backs. It worked out great.

I had two umbrella strollers with baskets on the bottom and used the stroller connectors to connect them together. You can find them at Toys R Us.

Thank you everyone for your help suggestions.

I wouldn't mind renting a stoller, hey it's one less thing to pack and carry. But I kind of wanted to bring my own because we are staying at the Boardwalk and we enjoying walking to Epcot and MGM. And I'm sure my girls would not want to walk at the end of the day. So we would end up carrying them back to the room, along with all the other "stuff" we me picked up during the day.

And having two umbrella strollers in not a bad idea but I kinda wanted to stick my husband with the stroller duty.
