We will be taking our daughters and sons to Disney this summer. Our sons are teens but our daughters at the time of the trip will be 6 months and 25 months. The single stroller that I purchased was a combi that has great and easy steering but just awful storage under the seat. I have been looking at double strollers trying to decide which to purchase. I was looking at the Aria Twin MT Stroller at Babiesrus, any suggestions or comments on this stroller or any other that you love?????

I don't have an answer for you, but I'm interested in any feedback people have too. At home we use a Graco double stroller and it is fine. It folds up really easily and the storage is great, but I am wondering about any less bulky alternatives.

My younger 2 are 11 mo apart. We were given a second hand front to back Graco double stroller and the girls HATED it. When the little one was in the car carrier in the back the older one in the front kept wanting to climb back to get her, when the littler one was out of the car carrier she also was trying to climb up front to be with her sister. And they're wiggly little things too so no ammount of straps woudl keep them down short of duct taping them to the seats. This may not be an issue for you with a wider age gap. So I started looking at side by sides and went into sticker shock and shock at the lack of availibility. I liked the Jeep double umbrella side byside but it definately lacks storage and for a small one (under a year) it's not really 'great'. I ended up with a Graco side by side for $120 from Baby Depot at the Burlington Coat factory. I think they still have it on the website there and at babycenter.com.

It is not an amazing stroller, but it's a good stroller. It has seriously taken a beating over the last 2 years and has not given me any problems at all. Now that the girls are starting to refuse a stroller and prefer to walk and I'm back to most often using a single umbrella it's fine. The only parts that look rough are the bottom of the under storage and the bottom of the kids footbar - in other words- the parts of any stroller that get scraped on the ground when you fold it up and put it in your vehicle.

There is no snack tray for the kids, but there is a front bar and an organiser for the parents.

It is not one hand folding - but it is easy to fold. It folds flat and wide which makes it easer to fit other things in the back of the van. It does not fit great in the back of my truck (kia sorento), but neither did the front to back. It definately has ample storage underneath.

Being a side by side it is wider than a regular stroller. But it is no wider than a standard wheelchair and as long as the wheels are straight I have never had an issue getting it in any doors. - between racks at some clothing stores is another issue altogether, but some stores squish their racks so close you can't get a single person between them. The buttons that automatically open doors and sensored doors are wonderful!

Both setas recline individually. Only one reclining position though.

With the rare exception of 'don't touch me' my girls are MUCH happier sitting next to each other and safer since they aren't climbing over the stroller to each other. Again - might not be an issue for you, but definately affected my decision as much as buDget.

It's been to Disney twice. Never had a problem with it on the buses, boats, monorail or parking lot trams. It makes a great seat for the little ones for parades and street shows, and both mydh and Ican stand behind it with our oldest daughter between us and the stroller and the whole family is together and not takingup to much space or possibly getting evicted. An adult sized poncho covers the entire thing to save it from sudden down pours.

There are a lot of knowledgeable people!

I think that they main thing to look for is less than 29 inches wide to fit through doorways. And albeebaby.com has some double side-by-sides, including Maclarens, Inglesinas, Chiccos, and Combis, on sale (I was looking at the singles!)...There might be one that fits your needs.

so you said they need to be less then 29inches how big are the 2 seat rentals??? I would think by seeing them that they are bigger???

A wheelchair accessible doorway is at least 32 inches wide. Most are closer to 36.

Wow, this is my first post...but I felt compelled to respond!

We went to WDW in Sept. 05 when our twins turned 3. We used our Schwinn Double Jogger and it was awesome! They even napped every day in the stroller for at least an hour and half. It was only a problem on the buses, when they were more crowded, but definately worth the "issues". It was also great to have in the airport, especially when I flew home without DH (he stayed for a work conference). We purchased the Schwinn online....I love the swivel front wheel and the comfy-ness for the twins. We are going again in Feb (they are 4 now, and I'll be 15 weeks pregnant...just one this time). We are debating taking the stroller again....it was just so handy! We also live 10 minutes from Kings Island (in Ohio) and always have passes for there. We used the stroller there all summer, too.

You said you have a Combi. We have twins and used the Combi Twin Savvy and it was WONDERFUL in the parks....plenty of space undereath, great sun cover, and sturdy enough to hang our backpack on. It's also very light and folds up very easily.

We're taking it again next trip...it worked out really well for us.

They might be bigger, but strollers at WDW are left outside attractions and restaurants. They don't need to go through doorways. If you own a double stroller, you do want it to go through doorways (into your hotel room, at stores in Downtown Disney, etc. at WDW and into a store, the dr.'s office, etc. at home).

Doorways are usually 32 inches, but, in order to clear the door and/or not have to open door all they way, it needs to be a little smaller. When I'm by myself, I can't open a door all the way at the mall and push/pull my stroller in at the same time. My neighbor has a 32" double, and she couldn't get it through doorways. If your double is mostly used outside (for example, a jogger), the doorway isn't an issue.

Does that make sense?

Thanks i was a little confused, we took our kolcraft side by side (31.5") to the mall today and i only got the wheel snaged once at gymboree b/c of all the sale racks LOL. When we entered the mall i pushed the automtic door opener for handi cap wheel chairs and pushed right though. For stuff other then disney i usally don't take a stroller i used my side by side the first time today since going to kings island this past summer LOL i usally carry my child in a sling or make them walk! LOL I am thinking more and more about renting a stroller and then bringing a long a single for other stuff...

I have an evenflo double stroller I got at Baby Depot at Burlington Coat factory--they had three times the selection than Babies r us. It has FANTASTIC storage. You can actually reach your diaper bag & pull it out just fine even with a bucket baby seat in the back part.

I'd get a front to back stroller instead of side to side just for going through crowds and doorways. I've taken this one to disney just once since my son is only 5 months now, and i was very happy with it. It is bulky, but so are most doubles that have the space/storage/extras that you'd want.

either way, the baby depot really does have a great selection of double strollers. good luck!

We have a Graco DuoRider which is a side by side. It is moderately priced, easy to maneuver, and has a nice size storage basket underneath the seats. The seats also recline individually so that one or both can nap comfortably. The wheels are big enough that they dont get caught in cracks and such.

We have had three in strollers at Disney. We always did umbrella strollers. We got the things that you use to hook two umbrella strollers together. That way we could have them hooked together or separate them depending on the kids and how they were doing. Sometimes all three strollers would be individual and dh, I and my mom would each have a baby. It was nice having the flexibility of having them together or being able to separate them if one needed to go back to the room or a bathroom, etc and the others didn't.

This is the same stroller we have, I think it is called Take Me Too. We bought it 3 years ago and took it to WDW last year and it was perfect! It is pretty big, but my kids needed the space as they are 2.5 years apart. I know a lot of people prefer side by side, but my kids don't seem to mind at all. It is really easy to push and is great for the mall and zoo as well. We have practically worn ours out- not because it was made poorly- but because we have used it so much!
