I was at the parks today and was absolutely packed. I saw Popeye had a singles line which was odd but was way too long to wait in. I went over to Dudley which was closed and got in on the short line after they re-opened. When I came out they had a single rider sign up but it said "double riders wanted"! This didn't make any sense to me, you would have to be taken down to the loading station for this to work as there was no seperate line for this in the main line. I didn't check it out, but could some employee explain these new double line? Is this and the Popeye singles going to be a permanent thing or was it the big crowds? Also, if it was on Popeye and Dudley, perhaps it was on the Dragons too, but I didn't go over to look...

The "double rider" line at Dudley makes sense because of the tandem-style of the logs. They won't make two strangers close in on each other for one of the partitions so whether it is one or two riders they take up the same amount of space.

On the other hand, most parties would probably have no problem splitting off into twos rather than the single rider lines so it will probably become too popular in a hurry -- hence killing the perk of the lines being shorter.

Just my thoughts,

Rick

Yes, it would be popular. And why couldn't they just call for two in the regular line? This just made no sense to me...
