Double Rewards Points on Disney Visa!

I'm in Indiana too. I didn't see this offer included in the mailed statement that I received this week. All it included was the flyer about the summer resort codes and another flyer for 20% off any Disney bathing suit. I also checked my account online and there's nothing there about the 2%. I tried to call Card Services but there is something wrong with our phone service tonight and everytime I try to call any 800# I get an "all circuits are busy message". I'll try to call tomorrow morning.

I have a feeling I won't be offered the 2% though ..... we charge ~$2500/month  on our card which includes all of our groceries, gas, dining and our wireless service too. The only thing on the lists I've been seeing that we don't use it for are utilities and insurance.

HI ALL!
Can you post a basic reply from members who got a post card as to the effective dates start and end .
This might help others who are planning on using the Visa for a large purchase in the near future but have not recieved a mailing.

Thanks!

Anybody from KY received one of these postcard offers yet?

I received the groceries, gas, etc here in Iowa, but our other card that is new doesn't have any deal attached to it. The dates are March 15th through June 30th.

I haven't received one yet and we are Bergen County. I usually charge around $900 every month. We are going to order 4 new doors for the house. I guess I'll wait until next week to order them. I would love to get the $150 one but it will probably be $550. Guess I'll just wait and see.

Did these come in your bill or was it a separate postcard? I haven't received anything yet. I am in Chicago.

Mine was a separate postcard. I'm a chartermember in SE PA. I think that they feel I haven't been charging enough "everyday" stuff to the card (although my long distance, cell phone and gasoline get charged to it regularly).

The one thing that I noticed on the card was that double rewards will not be reflected in your Awards Balance until 8-10 weeks after the last day of the month in which the double rewards were earned. In other words, double rewards earned in March will not be credited until June. Those earned in April will be credited in July and the ones earned in May will not be credited until August.
It's something to think about if you're planning a trip in the summer.

I have not gotten anything yet. I might not either, as we use our card for everything we can. I have earned 450 reward dollars since I got the card last March. I will be curious to see if I get any offers. For the groceries, how do they know what's groceries and what's not? For example, I buy all my groceries at Super Target, which they might not think of as a grocery store.

After doing so, scroll down to the area marked Added Disney Offers where your own individual promos will be listed.

Where is this located? Under offers I have view Disney Offers with a drop down menu that only says for credit card. When I click that it brings up all the offers available. Nothing personalized.

I'm in Alabama.
I got the gas, groceries, dining out, etc offer too.
I already put all of that on this card. I don't think that there is any rhyme or reason for how they decide who gets what offer.

Alabama, finally one in the southeast.

I just got the postcard here in PA - double rewards on all purchases over $150 from March 15 through June 30.

I'll be buying park hoppers soon! Woo-hoo! We go in September so the 8-10 week wait period for the double points shouldn't be a problem.

so I called Bank One yesterday, and got a helpful operator. She looked into my account, and told me the promo was mailed out starting 3/3, and I should be getting mine in the mail.

Mine is double after $850. I DO NOT use my card to pay regular monthly bills. She didn't list the same things mentioned here, but I'm sure they will be on the postcard whenever I receive it. I am anxious to read the "fine print" because I have passes to buy, hotels to pre-pay, car reg to pay and a bunch of airfare I could charge in that time period, if they count!

They didn't mention my being a Day1 cardholder, but said the dollar amount is tied to your credit limit, and credit rating?!?!?!?

Hmmm. I didn't realize they gave people different credit limits. What is typical?

It sounds like Bank One is doing a bit of test marketing to see how it can get customers, lower usage customers in particular, to use their cards more. I work for a company that does similar "stimulation" tests to see how it can get increased usage out of its services. Based on test results, Bank One may decide to roll it out nationally or not. Like many others on this post, we charge virtually ALL of our expenses on the card, racking up a pretty high bill each month. And we have yet to receive the promotion.

Woo Hoo! I haven't gotten anything in the mail yet, here in NJ, but I am in big for this!!!! I use it for everything, even set it up to pay my cable & wireless bills, food shopping....WOW! I am really excited about this.

I think it's pretty wild how companies used to be able to do this without anybody else knowing about it. You could have broke it down any way you wanted. Now we all get on these boards right away and share and compare. We are all trying to figure out what they are doing... to break there secret code or pattern. Meanwhile, I just keep checking my mailbox everyday for something that may never be coming, something that the non-disboards folks most likely don't even know about. They'll be excited and suprised when they receive it, and they(unlike me) won't be dissapointed if they don't.

I got my card today and it also does not mention a minimum dollar amount. However, the 2% reward is only for gas, utilities, wireless phone, insurance, groceries and dining out.

Too bad the rewards don't start until 3/15. I just paid my wireless bill. That's what I get for being prompt with my payments!

I also recived mine in the mail today with the same offer as mad4themouse. No minimum amount and only for gas, utilities, insurance and dining out, groceries!
