So I will need to rent a stroller for our trip at the end of September and was wondering which would be better, the double stroller or a sit and stand?

I don't use a stroller on a regular basis so am unsure as to which to chose.

TIA

I would guess the Double. I have heard that the Sit and Stand is big and heavy.

What kind of double stroller is it? The City Mini? I have heard that the City Mini is great.

We use the Joovy Caboose Ultralight - which is a sit & stand. It is easy to maneuver and light. We took it to Disney last year and loved that it is not as big and heavy as a double stroller.

What are the ages of your children? We love the sit n stand. So much so that I wish I could buy a new one for our upcoming trip. We have used it for 4 previous trips and think it's fabulous if you have older children who will not want to sit in a traditional stroller. My 9 yr old wishes that we would let her still sit in it.

My children will be 3 and almost 5 when we go. I am planning on renting from Orlando Stroller Rentals and they have either what looks like a Baby Trend Sit N Stand or the City Mini All Terrain Double (it's a side by side).

Thanks for your input.

We have a Joovy Sit and Stand. We have used it on every family vacation and find it to be perfect. On our last vacation with my 2 nephews the biggest problem was the arguing that would ensue over who's turn is would be in the back (my SIL has a side by side and none of the kids wanted to get in). My kids are 5 and 2.
