Pete's speculation about how long the SM rehab will REALLY take, as opposed to what Disney is currently saying may be correct.

I just got the new planning DVD, which unfortunately is a re-hash of the last planning DVD, with a few added balloons to make it look more like a celebration.

One glaring thing is the total non-mention of Space Mountain. They actually refer to Splash and BTMRR as the Double Mountain Whammy!

Stacey would be crushed. She'll only get to say "Wham! Wham!" without her third "Wham" I gues its not really "All Wham"

Do you think they would totally remove mention of the ride, if it were only going to be closed for 6 months?

I mean they even removed it from the part of the DVD where the "cool":smokin: teenagers run around the park riding all the thrill rides.

Makes me think it will be down for more than 6 months.

Which gives me hope, that maybe just maybe we'll get the Extreme Makeover!!!!:cool1:

The printed out information that came with the DVD also does not mention SM. They don't even point it out on the included map. (No TTA either)

maybe I'm being selfish...but as I'm doing a TRANSATLANTIC trip I hope that for October 2010 SM is functioning normally. I do hope it gets a makeover.... maybe they could add something to the TTA???

You're right I hadn't even noticed that! SM isn't even named on the map!:scratchin
