We went to Disney last Feb and brought a small side by side double stroller for DS2 and DS3. It was great on the buses and we had no problems. We are returning in early December kids are now 4 and almost 3 and I think they would be much more comfortable in our double jogger. we are relying solely on the bus system, staying at POFQ and not renting a car. Do you think the double jogger will be inconvienent to us or to other guests on the bus?? I want the kids to be comfy but I don't want to cause a comotion every time we get on and off a bus(which will be a lot). Any thoughts?

We have taken our double jogger to Disney every trip since our twins turned approximately 3-1/2 years old and outgrew any other type of stroller. Do you have the kind of jogger that is a one-step fold? For example, with the Baby Jogger you just pull up on the straps and it folds and latches. In the assumption that your jogger is easy to fold, then buses shouldn't be an issue. We have never had any problems with the buses, though we do tend to use the monorail and boats as often as we can so that we can just roll the stroller right on and off.

I had a double jogger with a bicycle wheel in the front that could be detached when necessary. I took it to WDW 2 times and don't remember it being a big deal. But, my kids were old enough to stand up and wait for the bus to come so as soon as we got to the stop, the kids got up, I collected the stuff DH disconnected the stroller, folded it up and held it. I took the kids & stuff and he held the stroller on the bus. I'm pretty sure it didn't take up much more room than the regular double.

I hope my experience helps:thumbsup2 have fun.

We went to WDW in January last time and really had no trouble with our great big double Evenflo. Granted, DH did all the manipulating while I manned the kids, so I didn't have to fight getting on or off the buses with the stroller. I think during busier times of the year people have more stroller trouble on the buses.

How big is the stroller? WDW has this posted on their theme park FAQ site:

Q. Are there any personal items I should not bring with me into the Theme Parks?

A. Items that you may not bring into the Theme Parks include, but are not limited to:

Items with wheels, such as wagons, skateboards, scooters, inline skates, shoes with built-in wheels, two-wheeled or three-wheeled conveyances, strollers larger than 36" x 52", suitcases, coolers, or backpacks with or without wheels larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (coolers required for medication may be stored in a locker or at Guest Relations), and any trailer-like object that is pushed or towed by an ECV wheelchair or stroller
Alcoholic beverages
Weapons of any kind
Folding chairs
Glass containers (excluding baby food jars and perfume bottles)
Pets (unless they are service animals)
In Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park (for the safety of the wildlife), balloons, straws and drink lids are not permitted.

I have seen those plenty of times, don't take up more room than most folded strollers, single or double...

I think a big stroller is expected.......If someone has an issue with it then they are vacationing in the wrong place.

Take your jogger & ENJOY!

On our recent trip, we took a double stroller. Yeah, it was a pain on the buses when they were crowded.

The first issue was we get so used to the pockets/cup holders in the stroller to just stash things. Of course when you get to the bus stop you have to clean up and put everything in a single bag or it doesn't fold or stuff falls out.

I folded ours up but didn't remove the front wheel, that does buy you a little bit more folding but really wasn't worth the hassle.
Some buses are better than others with respect to how much room there is for it and if there is an out of the place to hold/stash it. Most people expect strollers and understand you are trying to juggle multiple kids and all the associated stuff with it.
BTW: it also pays to have the cutest set of twins sitting close by to justify having the double stroller. :)

So yes, it is a pain but not enough so to go without it.
Jeff.
