My goal for yesterday was to hit 3000 which I FINALLY did after Grace's tip about only hitting flawless. I do pretty well now in the first round, but completely fall apart for the rest I let A LOT of fireworks go by simply bc I know I can't hit them all and sometimes two different kinds are just too close to each other for me to try.

My goal for next week is to hit 4000 (hopefully without too many tears)

well I stink at this new fireworks game I had not played in so long had to refresh my ancient brain and read instructions.

With the lag I miss so many fireworks trying to get flawless. I do not mind getting knocked out after second round because I can go back right in and get another 300 points. So to me it is about equal to ghosts. Just missing talking to peeps.

I know just how you feel! I try to convince myself that it's just a silly game of clicking on little images.. then I do better ( mind over Matter )

I remember when I finally scored enough to get the Bronze Pin.. I wore that beauty proudly everywhere!! Now I usually score around 6,000.

Matty_D still reminds me that I will always come in second to him.. So new goal : Completly annihilate his score at all cost.

Because of double credits yesterday, I finally got back to playing! Last I played (before I got addicted to HM, not because of the credits but because the game got to be so fun), I was able to break 5000. Suddenly last night, out of NOWHERE, I broke 6000!

Haha yes, I know it's nowhere near as high as GoofyGeggy's or Aengus's or AmberDaze's, but I was so surprised. I never watched Goofy's video because I felt it would be impossible to improve but now I plan to! So for for everyone who thinks higher scores is impossible ... haha, some times they just are possible!

You can do it the next thing you will need to notice is that the purple swirl, green firework, and yellow firework are all slightly delayed compared to the other. Once you get that going you will see you dont haev to try to hit two at a time, you go for the quicker one first and then pop the slower one oh and the final firework from 5-3 is the quickest, the rest I didnt name are all the same speed as eachother.

He did in another thread, to be honest I dont think the video would help them at this stage they are in, but the guide in his sig would be extremely helpful. HERE it is

No. You don't need combos for Flawless Bonus. It hasn't been like that for me at all, and I started at the end of July last year.

And yes, I've watched Goofy's video a few times. Doesn't help me really at the stage I am in... All I know is that he pretty much hits every firework there is flawless... and well...... I don't even come close

Do you play with the sound on? For me, once I turned off the sound, I did better. I initially turned off sound to prevent crashing in the monorail but I realized that it works better for me in fireworks too. I don't concentrate on the music so my finger doesn't try clicking along with it. I click because I visually see the little white star.

Other times, I also listen to other music on iTunes at the same time because then I'm not concentrating too hard on fireworks. I realize when I get worked up about score, I don't do well. When I first tried getting my score up, that would be on my mind. Like someone else said, don't look at the score. I actually had to put a post-it on the monitor to cover it up so that I wouldn't look at it. That way, it got me not to care about how I'm doing compared to other people.

Pink, try to set the curser to the side of the firework you are going to explode that way you can see the firework turn into a star. When it turns into a complete formed star click it. Try it on the slow fireworks like Aengus listed, than work on the faster ones. I seldom ever get any of the last level final stage blue ones, that are way to fast for me.

In the old game I used to depend on the music to know which fireworks were coming out, but then the sound would just cut out and I'd end up playing games without the sound (too lazy to refresh I guess). I found that playing without sound worked much better for me in the old game and remixed.

This is how I became dependent on the sound in the beginning -- I needed the music to know when the rounds would end. But when I had no choice to play without sound on for whatever reason, I found I was able to score higher and I actually learned the rounds without the music

I made less than usual on fireworks yesterday. all those good players back in the game had me getting cut off after the second or third stage every time.

That was happening to me too... but then I realized I was getting the same (pitiful) score by level three instead of level five... so at least I was collecting credits faster than usual!

Does anyone know whether the double score counted toward tomorrowland quest tasks? Does this mean that Fridays could be Green Car Magic days?

I believe you need a high score for green car magic but the fireworks days just doubled the credits.
