I'm not sure if this will be coming to others, but I just received a notice for double Disney Rewards thru my Disney Visa for Oct-Dec.!! :cool1:

Does anyone know-can I use my reward dollars to buy Disney Dollars at the Disney Store?

:flower:

I just got this notice, too.

Yes, I buy disney dollars at TDS every month or so with my rewards card.

herc.

I hope this is one of the offers I get too!!! I'm putting a ton of my card now and over the next few months.

how did you get this notice?? email?? in the snail mail??? i want to get this bonus too!!!

I also recieved this post card by regular mail yesterday afternoon. It is for purchases over $250 in certain categories - gasoline, groceries, utilities, dry cleaning, wireless services, dining out, drug stores, movies and refreshments, and healthcare.
I haven't received a bonus reward dollar offer since last summer, although that one was great - triple rewards with no minimum purchases and it happened during a trip to WDW!!!

I got this "offer" but I have to spend $2,250 on the categories (groceries, eating out, dry cleaning). Yeah right! Even if I dry cleaned everything in the house, including the cats, it still wouldn't get me to the limit.

Lucky folks who got it with a reasonable spending amount!

I have never received one of these bonus offers but will be watching my mail just in case there is a first time.

hmm -- funny -- i just called Disney Visa *chase* and they told me that this offer didn't exist. That the only offers are the "love the double" offer that isn't applicable to the Disney Visa, and one that is geared toward a vacation purchase.

looks like i don't get double reward dollars after all. With gas prices the way they are now, I'd hit $250 in that area anyway in addition to the groceries.

I just got one yesterday...First time ever since being a charter member. I have stopped using the card about 3 months a go, and it has been paid off each month for longer than that. I think mine is to spens $600 in OCT-DEC and anything over that will be doubled. Luckily it covers Dental expenses...and I have a 3,000 visit coming up!!!! :cheer2: SHHHHH don't tell them!!! ***there is a maximum reward bonus of 100 bonus dollars per calander month

I got an offer that said I would earn 4 percent on my gas, groceries, and dining out over $1,200. Did anyone else get this post card? I've been using my Citibank for groceries and gas, and it's usually around $800 to $900 a month (but Walmart didn't count). Does anyone know if Walmart Supercenter or Supertarget are counted as grocery with the Disney Visa?

We got the postcard in the mail today. Our offer is for $600 in the categories listed. So why is it that Safeway and SuperFresh (two of the markets that I shop at) keep showing up as "other" on my statement? And why does my SPRINT local telephone bill and my Cingular cellular bill show up as "merchandise and other services"? I'm certainly not going to change my shopping habits to accomodate their "participating" merchants. Lord only knows who they are and He's not telling!

Mine was in the mail and it was also for $600.+-I called them to see if there was some trickery with this-as it's worded, it could be interpreted that you need to spend over $600. in each of the categories, but when I called to ask for clarification, the customer service rep I spoke with said it was a combined total of $600. (I know the previous would be outrageour, but ya never know...).

Last year, we had a chunk of time when we earned TRIPLE REWARDS-I would love that!!! :flower:

I think I am going to use my reward dollars to buy Disney Dollars, esp. since we're going thru a travel agent (I wouldn't want to keep having her pay from time to time using my reward card...).
I also just opened another account to get the $50.00 reward dollars! :cool1:

I jsut called this morning and they told me ( at Dis Visa) that there was no specials right now and I explained that I knew some people who were getting post cards and this is what she said..."Could you give me ther card number and I will check to see what category their card is under" Now how dumb was that!?! She knew that I didn't have someone elses card number. I guess that was a round about way of saying...it's not on your card so beat it!

I am a "charter cardmember" and have never gotten one offer ever, I use this card quite frequently, although it is not my primary card, I also pay it off each month. I called customer service to see why I never get any offers, I was told it "is the luck of the draw", this didn't seem like a great answer to me, so I sent Chase an email, below is the response I got from them.

We are pleased to provide a variety of marketing offers to our Cardmembers. Offers may
be extended to some Cardmembers and not others for a variety of reasons. The reasons
include the following.

* Certain offers may be extended to a selected group of Cardmembers based on the group's
purchasing habits.
* Offers may be extended to a randomly selected group of Cardmembers to test the
popularity of a program before we extend the offers to all of our Cardmembers. In this
case, we determine the number of responses received from the randomly selected group
before we provide the offer to
all Cardmembers.

We regret that we cannot provide every available offer to all of our Cardmembers.
However, we hope that you will continue to watch your mail for future offers.

I received the offer too. I am also a charter member, use my card frequently (i.e. for everything) and I pay it off each and every month. My offer states "From October through December, every dollar you spend each month over $100 in these categories will earn you double rewards". Groceries, dining out, gas, utilities, dry cleaning, wireless services, drug store, movies, healthcare. I have 2 Disney Visa cards but received the offer for only 1 of them (it states the visa # at the top of the card). It sounds like I got a great one!! :cool1: But the only catch I can see is that the bonus points are limited to only $100 per month and you have to wait 8-10 weeks for them to be credited to your account. We are going in December and would like to use them at that time but I guess we won't be able to :sad2:

That's the equivalent of $10,000 in spending in those catagories. Even if I bought gas and groceries for my whole family on one card, I don't think that I'd approach $10K per month. :faint:

We FINALLY got an offer- our very first and we've been good customers!
But I don't understand why our offer is for :confused3 $900 instead of $600 like others have gotten. :confused3 The timing is great since I have a couple thousand dollars in medical bills coming up. I'm glad they included health care as one of the expenses, otherwise the offer would not be helpful to us.

Our offer came today for an incredible 4 points reward!! But it for over $250 spending in those categories. Still might be able to rack up a few more dollars before our feb trip.

I got this offer, too. I'm a charter card holder, and this is the first time I got any offer!

About Safeway and Super Fresh........are they not included in the deal?! They are pretty major chains, especially Safeway.

Do you have to spend their set amount for all 3 months to earn the bonus points? Or can you participate in 1 month only and get the points for that month? :confused3

I normally don't charge groceries, though I did last week so I could work my way toward bonus points.

BTW, I'm thinking about using our points for refillable mugs. Free mugs and free drinks!
