Double dipping in November FP+

You should still be able to since it is still in testing mode. We were able to double dip in September though didn't use it very much.

Okay, so I am climbing back up on my soapbox. I am on day 5 of my 10 day trip, and I can assure you that even though I am using my KTTW for traditional FP-, I am NOT "double dipping."

How is it double dipping when I can't use FP+ but in ONE park per day, and now (as of today) I can only get ONE E-ticket FP+ per day. It would totally not be fair to those of us who do park hop (and have paid more for that option, by the way) to be limited to only 3 FP+ in ONLY ONE park. It would really limit our ability to do the things we want AND park hop if we couldn't pull paper for the other park. (Which has not been a problem, by the way, but I am a little bit weary of hearing people say that using the KTTW to pull paper is "double dipping" because it is really not.) Another limitation of the Magic Bands is that you HAVE to pull 3 FP+ at a time. You can't just do 1 or 2, you MUST choose 3. So, even if I know I can't make it to all 3 or don't want to, I am still forced to book them. So far, that particular aspect of FP+ is very limiting and a bit frustrating... and I am sure that has something to do with why all the FP are out so early in the day.

Now... climibing down off soap box.

To OP: Yes, FP-, aka pulling FP the old fashioned way with KTTW, is still working. And I have not had one CM even question our use of them even though we all 7 have on MBs.

Here is Disney's official response via email to a guest who asked about the so-called "Double Dipping"...

Breathe.. They just asked a question.

I'm looking at it this way -asking about legacy FP and double dipping is like asking about the weather. You really need to wait until a day or so before your trip to check. The weather can and quite possibly will change - same thing with the FP situation.

We'll be there in 10 days - I'm not looking at the weather and I'm not worrying about double dipping or lack there of (although personally I would love to have the ability to grab a FP if necessary).

It's a FP+ for one of the headliner rides (for example, Test Track or Soarin at Epcot)

Okay - Thank you! I thought there was some other FP I was going to have to learn about.;) I did my Epcot FP+ when we could just pick any 3 -- since they are still showing that way I decided not to mess with them.

Here now and using FP+ and KTTW to pull fast passes. It's also not very crowded so we are riding the headliners many, many times.

Also, last week someone said all of the gates work with Magic Band. Not true of Boardwalk, where we are staying. No Magic Bands so KTTW are a must if you have a car.

What is an E-ticket FP+?

I was referring to the fact that you can no longer book both Soarin' and Test Track through FP+ on your Epcot day ...hence, only one E-ticket type attraction (the popular ones) per Epcot day. Actually, you can only book one of Soarin', Test Track, and Maelstrom. You then have a choice of 2nd tier (or in the traditional/old Disney ticketing system these would have been considered A- and B-ticket type attr(actions).

Now, this is the most intelligent post I have read all day. ::yes:: You are so wise!!
