Does anyone know or want to guess if the double dips will vary in pricing? I am platinum and will be calling in tomorrow. The date doesn't matter to me, would just like to book the cheapest. I was thinking that the lone June date might be less?

I am wondering the same thing. I'm a lonely ole silver (:lmao:), so I can't book until Thursday. Interested to see what pricing will look like tomorrow. Would you be so kind to report back on what prices look like for the June and July double-dips? We're 1 adult and 1 kid (14 yrs old). Like you, I'll be booking one of those double-dips! :cool1:

I would think May 10, 2015 to be the least expensive of the 2015 dates, followed by the late June date -- but most US kids are out of school by late June so the "school vacation" factor is likely to enter in for that one.

Enjoy your cruise!

We are planning on the June double dip so please report back with pricing if you can. Thanks!

We also want to double dip! Lol. Somewhere I saw what looked like a press release that listed all the new itineraries and base pricing. It had 4 night starting at like $675 per person, 5 night at $1450 per person, and 7 night at $1200 per person. I am hoping that was a major typo. No way am I paying more per person for a shorter cruise than a 7 night!

Can't wait to hear what you learn tomorrow!

That solo June date is listed as blacked out for onboard booking discounts. That may affect pricing as the ship fills.

We did a 5 night DD on the Dream in June 2012 and for 2A2K it was $3300 in an 8D. I'm certain it will have gone up since then but as to how much is anybody's guess.

Yeah, I'm definitely hoping that's a typo but if not then maybe we have a shot at a 7 night on the Fantasy. :rotfl:

Yes, please report your pricing for the double dip. Thinking of booking the DD for the last date in June or a 7 day eastern in May.

Thanks!

I am hoping for a DD. The late July ones.

I can't wait to know prices.

The starting DD prices are more than TVs starting prices for a 7-night Caribbean. Scary, but not surprising.

I thought the June was not listed as black out based on what someone posted earlier...

Is it possible that the 5 day double dips are more money because they are in June/ July? I would assume that the cheaper starting point for the 7 day cruise would be in May and the 7 days for June/ July will be more expensive.. Just trying to figure out the reasoning behind the price difference.. :confused3

^^That is exactly what I think.

Looking at the release on the Disney Cruise Blog, The 4 night was listed at 662 and the 5 night at 1465. That would mean Disney is charging you an extra $800 for the privilege of another night on their private island. WOW!

Yes I saw that too! I think we are going to consider doing our first B2B in August instead, combining a 3nt and 4nt giving us our own CC double dip and 2 extra nights...and I think it will cost less!!

Aren't the 5 nighters only offered in peak season? I don't think you are comparing apples to apples. I would expect 4 nighters in peak season to be much more than off peak. So the price difference you are quoting would be for an extra night plus the difference between peak and off peak season.

Exactly what I was thinking. I am sure the DD pricing is not much more than the cost of an extra day when comparing. You will be able to really compare by looking at the 4 night cruise sandwiched between two 5 night cruises, but right now we can't see that level of pricing.

This thread is totally scaring me!!! Our family had originally planned a 4 night Bahamas cruise for summer 2015. Because it is a large family get together, the June 26th is the only date that everyone is available. We weren't planning on the double dip five night cruise but would be very happy to have it. Unfortunately, if the cost is approx. $1450 per person, there is no way we can afford it:worried: Really hoping to hear some affordable numbers tomorrow!

Yes I am afraid of the pricing as well. I told my TA to book the 5-night "if the prices weren't crazy expensive" and her response was to ask me what do I consider crazy expensive. I guess I am thinking it could be on the order of more than 4K for our family of five, but if it's closer to the lower end of 4K (and preferably below that) then we just might have to consider it. :)

I just don't know!!
