Woo hoo! Count us in too! We had a moment of weakness and booked yesterday. (Well we are in full swing DCL withdrawal, we just got off the 4 night 3/18 - 3/22....relapses are to be expected!)

The only thing that sucks is the 10% and the $200 OBC we lost by not doing it on the ship...but if we HAD booked onboard we probably wouldn't have selected this cruise because at the time we were so focused on the Eastern. We are also happy to report we are the only ones not in 6080! Heh. That's cause we're cheap. We will be in 7003. (there was NO selection, NOTHING aft...is this thing almost booked already?)

But this is a great bunch of folks! I can tell none of you are too excited yet!! :rotfl:

We are all to thrilled to be joining the gang! At time of sail:
Jen (34)
Ron (34)
Brendan (8)
Savannah (7)

"Oooh, down in Mexico, I never really been so I don't really know...oh-oh-oh Mexico , guess I have to go now!"

WELCOME JEN! Are you sure you don't want to share? Might be room in the closet :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Hey Jen! We are cheap too, neighbor! We will be across the hall, 3 doors down. We tried to get 7001 (the room we had a month ago for the Eastern cruise) but it was taken. It's cool though - nice, quiet location and convenient to the spa and adult's pool. (Not to mention Beat Street and the Walt Disney theater.)

at time of sailing:
Stacy - 33
Ken - 28
maybe DD Morgan 14 - this was supposed to be an "adults only" cruise but DH is having some weak moments and suggested we might take her now! But I don't know since it will be during the first month of her high school freshman year...

Hello All !!!
I'm Back !!! :cool1:

:cheer2: WELCOME ABOARD NEWBIES!!!! :cheer2:

Yeah, we really like being on 7. We just got back from the 3/18 - 4 night Wonder and we were in 7539, which is a real elcheapo 11. I told hubby that we *had* to have the extra half bath this time, hence the big step up to a 10:laughing: but we were hoping to stay on 7, which luckily we were able to do. I had wanted to be aft though cause seems we spent a lot of time going back & forth to the drink station..
Its probably good you didn't get 7001, it wouldn't be quiet anymore! Ha! Seems we didn't realize how thin the walls were- or ahem- how loud WE were last time, we never heard OUR neighbors (but they heard us!) Of course now that we know we can try to contain our voices but that 3 door cushion just night be a good thing!:rolleyes1

ooh but think of how cheap it would be if we did stay in the closet of 6080...hmmmm....now there's a thought!

thanks for the welcomes everyone!

Hello everyone, I got my stateroom, 6560. I see that it is located near the elevators. My concern is I'm a light sleeper, and not sure how quite it will be. My husband think that it will be okay, since last time we didn't get back to our stateroom most of the time until around 11 PM. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

MissAllen, are you sure you're not in 6080? :rotfl: j/k

I've never been by the elevators, we always seem to end up way aft. BUT, I do know that as we staggered back down the longest hall in the world on many a drunken evening we were the only souls around. Dunno if that helps or not. :confused3

Hi MissAllen! We were in 6562 and we really didn't hear anything much.
I loved the location cuz it was easy to find our room - I get lost even when I'm not drinking!:rotfl:

I was in 6562 in 2005, which is right near the elevators midship, I didn't hear anything. One night around 10 some kids were running down the hall, but nothing from the elevators.

How was Carnival? popcorn::

Ick!!! does NOT meet DCL expectations at All !!!! :sad2:

Carnival is NOT as clean as DCL. No sanitary percautions at all, glad we brought purell. there wasn't anyone that we saw cleaning or painting or scrubbing the ship. tables and floors weren't cleaned as fast as DCL or the food on the buffet lines filled as fast. the pool was closed for the 1st 2 days so there were kids in the adult only hot tubs :sad2:

we had a handicap room so everytime DH & I showered the whole bathroom floor would flood. we must of went through 50 towels for the floor in 5 days

keywest and Breakfast with my brother & his wife was excellent!! :cheer2:

snorkeling with the turtles in Mexico was Perfect!!! :thumbsup2 crystal clear waters and several turtles

food on the ship was really good. they had a deli that made delicious sandwhiches

oh and i even won some Money in the casino on the ship playing 3 card poker. lost money everytime i played the slots :rolleyes1 but made it back on 3 card soooo it worked out

I could totally go for some snorkelling with turtles right about now.....sorry it didn't meet the expectations, but it sounds like parts of it were lots of fun! Besides, if they were all as good as Disney then we wouldn't be as obsessed, and thus not have a message board, and thus never meet all of these great folks! :thumbsup2

I would be up for a ladies high tea. Sounds like fun. :coffee:

I just still can't get over how many people are already going. Just think of all the people booked that don't know about this website either.

Just booked this cruise for hubby and myself.
Me - Maureen
Hubby - Joe
We are in room 6588.
This will be our second Disney cruise.:cool1: :cool1:

Welcome Aboard, Maureen! We did our first DC w/o kids, ours are grown, too. Loved it!

We should have a great tea party! We'll have to try to get ressies as soon as they come available.
