Jen that spread sheet is awesome thank you! I love that you included the drink of the day... your my new hero :worship: (shhh dont tell E LOL)

To whomever said about planning is half the fun YES I agree... I am forever doing it. E I think is tired of all the emails I send with any type of subject titled CRUISE.. lol.

Yet I did send him our secret mickey survey cuz there were a few things I was actually unsure of.. being that were not BIG dis fans (I mean I am and the boys are and usually when HE is gone is when I take the kids to Dland LOL) BUt him.. not so much. SO I got some replys I wasnt aware of and I have to share with you one.. ok a few but shhhhh dont tell him :rotfl:

Hobbys: PS2 and Being a Marine (apparently its a hobby now and not a career. LOL)

Any Allergies (nuts, milk etc)? My wife(lol) None (isnt he a funny man) :headache:

but my fav was...
Favorite spot on the ship anywhere my wife is. :cloud9: (aww isnt he a sweetie)

Im also working on our packing list now... I have the house to myself as my mom and the boys went to my gma's till Thru. Not sure what Im going to do with myself. I did go and rent a bunch of movies... Blockbuster guy must think Im a lonely wife... good thing they werent from that "other" section :rolleyes1

ANyhow I have saved a BUNCH of packing spread sheets if anyone wants I can upload those also. They have pretty much the same info but one set up might work better for someone then another. Let me know.

Glad ya'll like the spreadsheet:cutie: .

I know it is a lot better than the funky dog-eared scrawl-sheet that was poking out of my passporter earlier! What I am doing is typing all of my things like Palo Ressies and excursions in the blue notes section and I'm also making another sheet just in Word to list all of that stuff in detail, with confirmation #'s and phone #'s (indpendent excursions) etc., then I will print it on the back side of the spreadsheet and laminate it or stick it in a page protector. Or if I get real bored at work maybe I'll resize it to print in Passporter size and hole punch it and keep it in there. Or both...

The drink of the day.....that is the only thing I am not 100% about. I got them out of the most recent Western Navigators (that was not Mexican Riviera, so it was from the end of April.) That's why I put a question mark by the one on day 2, as it appeared to be geared towards Key West (Key Lime Margarita)...and I don't know if they will change to a more Castaway Cay appropriate drink or not. For that one, we will just have to wait and see...
I don't dare call 'em up and ask them to please list all of the drinks of the day for me....;)

Well, I finally have one thing more crossed off my list. Almost two weeks ago, (Monday, June 23rd), my DS and I went to apply for our passports (I had always just used a BC on the last two 4-day cruises).

I finally applied for our passports last Thursday! Although I really don't like my passport picture :scared1: And my DH's pic looks more like a mug shot :lmao:

hi,
has anyone bought the Disney Passporter from Dave and Jennifer Marx? It is really great. I got it for my husband for his birthday and he has just devoured it from cover to cover. It is really great info.:thumbsup2

I have the deluxe edition and love it! :yay:

I got through to MiL at about noon today and everyone (read MARIKA) is just fine.

I am so glad to hear that!

Here is a good site if you want to check the seats or what is on your flight.

Tonya

Thanks for the info. :thumbsup2

OK....I spent this ugly afternoon fixing this bad boy up:

It has listed the following: days, dates, ports & times, shows & times, dress & menus, dinner rotations & times, the drink of the day, and a notes section.

Thanks so much! This is great :woohoo:

Ok, while we are on the subject of clothing.........what do the little boys wear on formal night.....still can't decide on what DS3 should wear!
Crissi

My DS/3 will be wearing a sweater vest (with a really little Mickey Mouse patch on it) with a short sleeve dress shirt underneath and black slacks. I don't think there is anything I could bribe him with that would make him go along with wearing a tie :scared: He is just a little bit stubborn :snooty: ,

Welcome to all of the new comers :flower3:

Not sure what Im going to do with myself. I did go and rent a bunch of movies... Blockbuster guy must think Im a lonely wife... good thing they werent from that "other" section :rolleyes1

THAT is great :lmao: :rotfl:

Hi everyone!

My DBF and I were talking about GC today when we were driving up to my house. We were looking at the snorkling at the shipwreck excursion possibly but may also be interested in doing the one bus tour. Our question is, if time permits and it works out well, can we do two excursions? Has anybody done that before?

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

On GC I signed up my DH and older DS for 2 excursions: the Pirate thing and the Reef/Cali snorkeling. The excursions are 90 mins apart - both through DCL.

Hey it is Monday and I am actually remembering to post a Question of the week! It seems we talk a lot about television shows on this thread. So. . .
What is your favourite TV show (past or present)?

Me-Dharma and Greg (I a msooooo Dharma and Dave is soooo Greg:rotfl2: )
Dave-Star Trek The Next Generation
Marika-She's still not here but probably Star Trek TNG
Rio-The Muppet Show (runner's up: Home Improvement, Dick Van **** Show and The Adam's Family--Rio is my couch potato:rolleyes1 )

Is there anyone else out there getting really tired of Kyle Busch winning races? Just watched the finish of the Coke Zero race at Daytona - Kyle won. :sad2: That makes 6 this season. This is getting really old for a certified non-Kyle fan (actually an 'anyone but Kyle' Nascar fan).

Apologies to any Kyle fans out there........(as a JJ fan  , I was lovin' last season - not so much this season though. I'm sure non-JJ fans were getting tired of him winning so many last year, too.)

Thanks for indulging me in a bit of venting. Stepping off the venting box now.

OOh yes... We should take up a collection to get one of the other drivers to give Kyle a little 'bump'. I actually don't normally bash foreign car brands, but a Toyota winning NASCAR is just wrong!!

By the way, I'm just seeing this post now cause I was on a little road trip over the weekend - drove right past Talladega Friday.

AND - We are on the same tour with Nativeways - should be fun!

What is your favourite TV show (past or present)?

:cool1: Good question! Okay currently I am caught up in LOST - I wasn't one of the original fans so working my way through the DVDs (more fun that way anyways in my opinion - no waiting for next week). So just finishing up season 2 of that; also love So you think you can dance - and guilty pleasure: Young and the Restless popcorn:: (my grandma made me do it :rotfl: )

DH: CSI, American Idol, Survivor (I like all these too)
:happytv:

Wow, you all were chatty while I was away. ;)

Our favorite tv shows:

Val: Greys Anatomy, summer- Hells Kitchen.
Dh: whatever I normally watch. Steelers football starting in August.
DD: Wizards of Waverly
DD: Wizards, Suite life of Zach & Cody
DS: He is on a huge Star wars/ Indiana Jones kick, so he would rather watch a movie. :)

I need to get the kids passports this week. Arranging it so dh and I can be there together is tough for us. We went to Canada this weekend and it was nice having my passport, rather than license and birth cert.

Favorite tv shows:

Me: Eureka or Gene Simmons; runner up show is anything hosted by Samantha Brown
DH: Gene Simmmons
Fiona: Little Bill or Pinky Dinky Doo
Mom: Eureka (?); if not, some other show on Sci Fi Channel. :)

So I was just looking through the Local Harvest website Hadley mentioned. Any sort of "local" thing is listed.

Including this lady who will make yarn from your dog or cat's shed fur. She says she'll make a blanket out of it. :rotfl:

Our dog sheds A LOT...maybe dog hair scarfs for all FE gifts! Tee hehehehehe

I've done this...but I've felt yarn that has been made from fur that was shedded....it was not soft and cuddly AT ALL :-(

What about Shiba Inu underfur? *looking around the fur-covered house* I usually give all this stuff to the squirrels and birds. I could make 5 floor length parkas from this one small dog! :rotfl:

I found a saved document on my computer with multiple lists from Passporter for packing. If anyone is interested, I can email the list. Just email me directly at crazyzeus1 at aol dot com and I'll send it as an attachment!

In the subject line, please put something along the lines of "Packing List" so that I don't delete it by mistake :)

I thought these lists might help some of you not reinvent the wheel! We used these lists last year when we cruised and there wasn't one thing I felt like I didn't have that I needed/wanted!:dance3:

Which list in particular did you use (I know there are several in the back of my passporter book).? or did you combine all of them? I'm curious because I'm trying to figure out which might be the best?

TV Shows I would guess I enjoy a few but I really like reality shows that deal with people who need help cleaning their homes. That way I can see that my house is not as bad as it can get and then I plan Disney vacations in place of clean my home. Janet would be any show like Law and Order. She had planned to be a cop untill is realized she didn't like guns, blood and would need to stop for direction in amn emergency. Sho now she gets her fix on TV and Movies. I am more of a feel good type of girl. Lois

Hi,
Nice to online meet you.
My DS is 4 however, he is not actually too darling at the moment LOL. We should meet up because I bet he will be in the camp with your daughter. I do love the mountains, but really wish I had a nearby beach. Guess we can't have it all can we? Have a great weekend.

oK. your son sounds a great deal like ours (who is also 4). DS was scared to death of the fireworks over the weekend. Maybe we should get together some when they are not in club?

Yesssssss! That is my plan too!:lmao:

Question of the Week:

Mine: West Wing - I LOVE this show. Still watch it all the time on DVDs...

Dan: Seinfeld

Morgan: Witches of Waverly Place (now anyway - once J.O.N.A.S. comes on - or whatever it's called - I'm sure that will be numero uno)
