Our growing Double Dip Delight Book is made of many life-long memories!

Well, Post #1 of this Chapter and those yet to come won’t be the same as they had been, but I thought it still deserved some honor for the memories we made together!

:fish: Fish Extender & Secret Mickey Fun

Was it ever fun! The gifts people gave were so generous! Do you remember emptying your Fish Extender and 15 minutes later, it was literally full again? How about those crazy jumping Mexican Beans going click-click in its box? I had to put it in our safe so it didn't drive me crazy when sleeping! :rotfl: There were also many creative Secret Mickey deliveries and gifts. Thank you again everyone for the thrills this activity gave us!

Here’s a glimpse at some of the FE gifts that were passed out.

DISLanyardTable.jpg

Big thanks go out again to our lanyard leaders, Erik (tig82174) and Hadley (NHDisneylover), for getting nearly 300 of us adorned with our logo-inspired lanyards. I think I can speak for everyone who received one that they love and cherish the keepsake! Of course this couldn’t have happened without the financial support of the Lanyard Team Sponsors either, who are all listed on the back of your name tag and in Post #1 of previous Chapters!

:tinker: Navigators

Thank you, Jen (nenner1), for taking time out to scan and post our Navigators in this thread.

DIS Meets

On Embarkation Day, we had a wonderful opportunity to get together before the Muster Drill in the Promenade Lounge. Thanks again, Michele (TVEPFOX), for sharing the fruits and cheese found in your suite with us!

Question of the Week

It was a lot of fun getting to know our fellow DDD cast members before we cruised. Reading the "Question of the Week" and their answers were enlightening and sometimes entertaining!!

You may want to use these questions for your next cruise group, or you never know if you may cruise with some of our DDD friends again and want to be reminded of their responses. So, enjoy re-reading these. The links take you to the first page where the question was posted so you can follow the replies page-by-page. Enjoy!

:sad1: We Had to Come Back :sad1:

Wow! The 7 nights and 8 days went by so fast! If you want to read up on posts immediately following our return to be reminded of our thoughts coming right off the ship as well as to see posted pictures that some of you were willing to share, click here. By all means post more if you have them!!

awww as always Kimberly great job at keeping us together! I love the new and improved post#1!

ps when you starting your trip report... Erika's just ended and I so need some more reading material to take me back to that happy time on the boat!

Since I did happen to see my shadow on my birthday (2/2 - groundhog's day), I want to apologize for all the future cold weather. :rotfl2:

Kim - awesome post 1 :cheer2:

Yeah - not ready to leave all you guys.

Well the school board came back yesterday with the new schedual.. school starts at the same time frame, only 2days at thanksgiving instead of the week, and 1 week spring break instead of 2, thus ending the school year now May 28th (crazy my poor mom is going to go crazy with my kids LOL)

That being said I can finally start planning our 8-9days at WDW. I told E this and he said so you mean your going to cancle the cruise... WHAT.. now you want to do the cruise you said wdw.. make up your mind... in the end he said YA wdw! So we are looking at Aug 8th-18th or 19th LOL

SO,anyone have a code for southwest... found a great one way from San Diego to Orlando for $99 each.... but if I could save a bit more that would be great!

Thanks for starting a new thread Kimberly:cool1:

Just bumping up our thread!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! :)

welp.. we got the rain and cold... ok not too cold.. but had to wear a hoodie today. It was really windy too.. so it went from being in the high 70's to the 80's to.... 55. OUCH! LOL

hope everyone has a great weekend. Were not doing much just vegging, cleaning maybe going to see a movie!

I saw the radar this morning on the Today Show and I was wondering if you were in the area where it was raining!

My weekend doesn't officially begin until 5pm today since I'm at work...fun fun! :)

omg...I can't believe we are on Ch 5...I've been so busy I thought I lost ya'll!

I haven't done any Dising lately (only a little bit for our trip in 2 weeks) and I feel very guilty..I can't believe Erica finished her TR...I still can't do an installment on mine til I get the other computer back though, look slike it will be May again for me, LOL.

Hope you are all well...its nuts in this neck of the woods! Baseball cranking up, Dance really kicking in to gear with competitions next month, I'm working on Savannahs program ad, which...any photoshop endeavor for me is a lot of work. Sarah is almost walking (:scared: ) and I can't believe I spent enough $$ on Jimmy Buffett tix today that we could have all taken a cruise! Ay! (carnival...but still!)

At least we really made this Disney trip cheap. We got 4 nights at Coronado for just over $100/night and Play Four tickets for $160/each adult. A weeklong vaca will be around $800 not counting food, souvies etc. not too shabby!!:thumbsup2 Ummm...is it Feb 22 yet?? LOL:hyper:

Happy Saturday, guys, I promise I'll get back on track with my TR reading (and writing) soon!

OMG, little Sarah is almost walking????? :scared1: Where does the time go? :sad2:

Sounds like you'll have a great trip to WDW.

A hoodie??? :rotfl2: Around here 55 would just require long sleeves and long pants!!

Jen, I can't believe Sarah is almost walking!

How exciting dance competition time is coming up! I always LOVED competing! :)

Wednesday night, we unexpectedly lost the man I've called my Dad for the past 19 years. He nearly became my DFIL, which is how I met him. The parents of my boyfriend in college and I just never lost touch with one another. We loved eachother so much. Dad just always took me under his wing. His son is also amazing, and we've kept in touch over the many years as well. Even though I've lost all my great grandparents and all but one grandparent (who many of you met on the cruise), this is the closest person that I've lost. It's been very difficult. There's just never been anyone like him that I've known nor do I think he can ever be duplicated. Such a gentle, loving soul.

He was such a help when I had car problems a couple of weeks ago (which I'm sure you all remember me complaining about). I tell ya...there was a reason I had those car problems. It's clear now. He had a wonderful, happy 79 years. For his sake, I'm thankful that it was quick and unexpected though. Now he's with his sweet wife and daughter that didn't make it to birth, which oddly enough he mentioned to me just 2 weeks ago when we were having dinner. Again....things happen for a reason.

I'm also so thankful that I have absolutely no regrets now he's passed. Our lives can change in a moment, so don't waste any time to give and love!

Kim - my thoughts and prayers go out to you. :grouphug: It's never easy loosing someone we love.

Don't even think about it missy!!!! :offtopic: You have a wedding aisle to walk down!!!

That's right!!!! :bride:

No worries! I haven't competed in almost 11 years - if I tried to compete now, I'd would come in last place! Sadly, I'm past my dance peak by almost 10 years. :(
