He came a couple hours later high as a kite on vicadin,

but feeling a lot better

I was mortified because he was wearing flannel pajama pants (at 2:00 in the afternoon), some grungy shirt, flip flops and a bandana on his head

This, added to the missing teeth and drug induced weird grin on his face, I can only imagine what the hospital staff was thinking.
L.M.A.O.
I can so totally picture that too!
(after seeing him dancing barefoot in the bingo line!)
Denise, I hope Steve is feeling better!
Yuppers...I'm working 7:30pm - 11:30pm on BF. I have to work all day at my full time job so I can't be there during the day. My favorite time of day to work at BF is opening...but since I have the full time job, I can't do it anymore. There's nothing like be at the cash register at 4am!!!!! It's so exciting!!!
Bless you for being so enthusiastic!
No way in the world would I have the patience for that!
It has been really bad, but today I got a prescription for Zofran, an anti-nausea medication because I just couldn't take feeling like this anymore!
It hasn't kicked in yet, but hopefully the worst is over. I really want my appetite back by Thanksgiving!
Yeah, that should help you a lot.
That's what they gave me last year when I had that killer virus at Christmas...knocked me on my butt for a week, I go thte ZOfran and was eating two hours later, no joke. PLus I still had regular morning sickness then and after that it really seemed to dissapear. Here's hoping the same for you!
The DR in my practice made such a big deal about it when he prescribed it too, telling me its what they use for cancer patients on chemo, so that if it didn't work for me, there was nothing else... I was SOL.

(I think they were all tired of hearing me complain!

)
BLACK FRIDAY: I have NEVER gone shopping on black friday.
I used to go to the mall on BF, back when I was in high school and college. I swear they did NOT make such a big deal about BF back then (hey...it wasn't *that* long ago

)Of course I must have only been there to look because we always used to do our Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve back then...
I don't go to either extreme anymore.
I've been spending all week looking for my T-giving recipes....I don't know how I manage to lose them every single stinkin year. Now that I've found them I'm in the process of typing them up in word so I can just have them in the computer so I don't have to look around frantically every year.
(Anything to put off making this grocery shopping list!)
Hope you all have a great day!
