Last Disney crusie I went on my Mother-In-Law passed away while we were at sea....Got off the ship to listen to my voice mail and heard the news....Saturday was her birthday also....So it will be hard on my wife...we both miss her dearly

I would like to join in for my father-in-law. It's been almost a year since we lost him and 2 since we lost my MIL. The cruised for their honeymoon and this trip is going to bring back some memories for DH.

Hair cut? CHECK! Hair colored? CHECK! Manicaure/Pedicure? CHECK! CHECK! FE gifts packed? Check! Clothes Packed? Um.....clothes packed??!! Oh, my goodness, knew there was something I kept forgetting to do!!! I keep telling myself I will not be up at 3 AM on Friday finishing the packing of a trip I've had planned for over a year...wish me luck!

Also, sorry to hear about your loss...it's kind of bittersweet ya know...? Balancing the loss of a loved one all the while trying to keep the spirits light for the vacation.

Drea, my todo list is almost the same as your, got the kids hair cuts yesterday. So sorry to hear about your dad. Can't beleive you guys have been in touch for over a year. Wish I had joined sooner, you all have definitely helped make this trip a lot more exciting.

Tmrw is bitter sweet for me. its the start of my vacation but the same time its the 1yr anniversary of my dad's passing. Feels like it went so fast, weird it was just a yr ago I was telling you all and here its a yr later. Im at ease with it... just feels weird to be getting happy and giddy when I should be sad... well I am.. but ... well Im sure you all get it LOL.

Yeah .... I can totally understand. We were planning this trip on the 1st anniversary of my dad's death (July 1), and we will be coming back into port on the anniversary of my brother's death.

For those of you with the Pre Teen & Teens.. Will you be bringing them to the 3 o' clock meet in the lounge?
The "girls" that are coming with us.. 12 & 14 were curious if they could meet some of the others so they can make some plans if they hit it off..

Ummmm .... I'm not sure. It really depends on how things go that day. I have a 17 yo and a 12 yo - both boys.

My (almost) 11 yr old son will be there - he is about a month shy of his birthday. I'm not sure he is at the age where it is cool to hang out with girls though ...any boys coming?

LOL!!! My 12 yo might join me.
