"Double Dip Delight" 09.27.2008 - Chapter 4!

Hello everyone...I have moved my trip to December 5, 2009. That trip will be going to St. Croix, USVI. I was raised on that island before I came to the United States, and I was planning on going on that trip anyway. I planned to book it soon after this trip,if I had sailed away like I originally planned. The planning just happened to start a little earlier than planned. I will truly miss having to go on my first Disney cruise this weekend. But in light of everything happening, I know it is best for me and my family...At least we did go to Disney over the Summer and spent 9 days out there...In addition, we plan to go out there again next year in June for our almost yearly trip to Disney World. Therefore, all is not lost,and my children understands; that is paramount for me. Have fun on the boat everyone...I know you all will...Boy! you all are a chatty group...I hope to find another chatty group like this one going on my December 5, 2009 cruise..Who knows, maybe some of you might join me on this cruise. I would like that. Talk to you later.

Sorry you wont be able to join us. Hopefully the 12-5 group is just as chatty.

I am completely packed for both girls~
All the dress clothes for me and the 3 kids are packed. and it weights just under 50lbs!!

I am jealous! And quite impressed. It is our first cruise, and I am gradually becoming a nervous wreck. I even have a headache right now. I am a horrible packer. I told my DDs, both 12, that we would start today--operative word WE. They started w/out me and both came out w/a pile of clothes! I appreciate that they were willing to do it on their own, however . . . I will be spending this evening sorting through, matching up, and vetoing outfits.

I told my DDs, both 12, that we would start today--operative word WE. They started w/out me and both came out w/a pile of clothes! Living out of town form family, I can pack for a weekend in about 15 minutes. Dh doesnt pack for his oversea trips until 30 minutes before he is ready to leave.

Dh said I dont know why you worry so much! I have an entire notebook, let me know if you need help.

We will be leaving for the airport at around 4:30ish on Wednesday the 24th. I hope to check my email and Dis @ the hotel during the 2 days before the cruise.

Ha! My DH does the same thing. But does he do it well? Mine just got back from Vegas (business ) w/more than half his clothes clean but wrinkled because he just throws half his wardrobe in the bag. He couldn't possibly have worn all that he brought. I mean, how can you change clothes when you never leave the craps table?

Oh, I need help. Can you come over and pack for me? I'll have DH cook you a nice meal . . . lousy packer; great cook!

and Yes, this year was VERY hard for me, I turned 35, son turned 18, Graduated HS & EMT/EMS school He is our Only child which made it even harder.. so I am VERY VERY excited he wanted to still cruise with us this time..

I am sure you son will not want to hang out with a 4 year old but my son is very into firefighting, emt and police people. Maybe he could tell my son some stories about being EMT.

Oh, that's awesome, Stacy. It's wonderful that you found someone that was sooooooo good for both of you.

Kimberly - Your post gave me the chills and made me tear up! I feel the same way.......this is a very special DIS family! I have learned so much over the past year and I couldn't have done it without each and every one of you!

I am so excited to meet you all in person.............but it will have to wait another 6 1/2 days!

Oh no, if it is almost here then it is almost over!

I can't bear to think about it!!!
